NEW SKYRIM DLC!

http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/01/skyrim-dawnguard-dlc/

Wonder what it'll be about? Maybe a new area to explore? If so, is it in another province or the entire province all together? Maybe something to do with the Thalmor? I hope so.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Xbox timed exclusive. Meh.

At least PC has new user created content being put out every day. PS3 is really the red-headed stepchild for this game isn't it?

Looks like it'll take place around here:

Involving Snow Elves, new vampire animations/powers, crossbows etc.

I'd like to see some lycanthorpe additions. I love rampaging on a hold in beast form but I always get killed by the last guy that has the good armor and weapons.

Werewolves really need to be fixed. Having damage determined by your One Handed skill is a moronic decision, and you don't really feel all that powerful. I remember in Morrowind's Bloodmoon expansion, being a Werewolf was actually a significant change in gameplay, and really interesting. In Skyrim, it just sucks.

Speaking of, maybe they bring back the Oblivion style horses and other cool mounts?

I would get pissed when I became a werewolf. I mean, you're weak, you can't do anything (like leave a fucking room) and you have to wait to change back. I remember I showed a friend I could turn werewolf (inside a dungeon) and I killed a guy, then had to wait like 10 minutes before I changed back.

I did marry the Aela the Huntress and had hot werewolf sex, or so I assume.

You absolutely should. My character is pretty good right now for a beginner. I love how badass my bows are.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I got this game when it came out and I'm still playing it 6 months later. I'm addicted to the slow-mo kill sequences. Decapitating people, shoving two swords through their chest simultaneously, that shit just does it for me. I also never get tired of sneaking around with a bow and shooting people in the face from afar (or up close, when they're stupid and just stand there wondering if it's really me or just a shadow shaped like a guy crouching with a bow drawn all the way back).
