you guys thinks THere's a chance for a patch/expansion who allows to change armour appearances with the blacksmith skill? I would love my armour to look more realistic, I look like a japanese giant robot now, doesn't fit Skyrim general look at all.

Does anyone know the trade in value of Skyrim for Gamestop?

I've grown tired of it, and it wasnt as exciting as I expected it to be. I just dont feel involved in it at all, so I'm looking to trade it in and get something else I might enjoy.

^the "new" price has already gone down so you're probably looking at $10-$15 max.

That said, I finally got this game last week and have been playing the crap out of it. Only setback is I still have an old TV, so it doesn't look as good as it could, but with the new job I'm getting, I should be able to get a nice one soon. Currently playing a Dark Elf battle Mage. Going to try sneaky, evil archer next.

I think Esbern and Delphine do not die since they are a major part of the main quest but I'm not really sure. They haven't died in my playthrough though. I brought them with me to easily finish all the other quest lines and dungeons before I continued the main quest.
I had Lydia die on me as well and not by my hands nor by falling down a mountain, she was actually killed by NPC's got to loot her dead cold body as well, with that being said I have had Mjoll The Lioness as my companion for quite a while now (Lvl 32 to current Lvl45) and she is very good and can carry a bunch as well.

Eh, might as well just finish it then.

Is there anyway to get a better one handed sword? I stole the Elven Sword from the Jarl's quarters awhile ago, but it really doesnt do much for me besides with smaller enemies. Reason I ask is because I like carrying the shield with me for protection purposes, but I have a hell of a time defeating Frost Trolls and the like.

Okay what you havent played the game properly. Get your smithing to 100 and make fucking daedric shit. Or dragon shit. Then enchant the fuck out of that shit with 100 enchanting and be BADASSSSS!!!!!

Pimp 1 handed and Block for more awesomeness too, and heavy armour.

Agree with getting smithing and enchanting up to 100 first, then make some dragon scale (light armor so you can carry more) I only carry two weapons, a daedric mace (enchanted with lightning & soul trap) and a daedric bow (enchanted with fire & magic damage) once you unlock the ability to enchant two spells to weapons and armor you are set, make sure you learn waterbreathing and enchant your helmet so you can swim underwater for as long as you want (sunken treasure & ships) plus you can do a nice jump from the top of Winterhold to the water w/o dying

I'm working on my smithing right now, trying to get it up so I can make my sword a little better. I have Dragon Scales and such but I'm not close to the skill level to use those yet, as I would like to use it for armor like you both said.

I didnt really pay attention to the smithing/enchanting or just generally making weapons at the beginning, I figured there were just better weapons somewhere. But now I have a ton to do with it in terms of improving stuff.

This is the first Elder Scrolls game I've played so it's still relatively new to me in terms of how to play.

This is my first Elder Scrolls game, I have played other Bethesda games (fallout 3 & New Vegas)

If you want to "cheat" on the smithing side it is easy, just have a shit load of iron ignot, leather & straps and just make a ton of iron daggers, quick way to raise your smithing skills, and depending on how many souls gems you have you can enchant all those daggers (then sell) and doing this will raise both smithing and enchanting pretty quickly, I am only at level 48 but have both smithing and enchating at 100, makes a world of difference

It's sad but somehow I don't enjoy this game anymore and I didn't even play it that long.
