I decided to return to Skyrim after a month long hiatus and the first thing that happens is...well... apparently the elks have decided to wage open war on me. As I'm running through a field near Whiterun, I randomly get attacked by one. So I kill it. Meanwhile two of its buddies are just standing there staring at me; making elk noises and showing up as enemies on my compass. I killed one of them( stole its soul) and let the other go so it can tell the others about me.

I'm wanted for murder in several cities. It's a common occurrence now for people to randomly try and collect the several bounties on my head. They always fail.

After reading those tweets, I wish everyone was somehow connected in Skyrim so I could hunt her down and bludgeon her to death with my enchanted maces. Maybe in the next one.

I played for the first time in about a month the other night, got about 3 hours without any problems the game started to slow down so I stopped. I play the next day and the game starts freezing up on me again after about 5 minutes. Dammit, really wish I got this for PC in retrospect.

You've had it rough. I was at least 60% completion of the trophies before the lag started getting to me.

I was in a city where I had no bounty, talking to a shopkeeper, and a guard comes up from beside me and blindsides me with a mace to the head. So I killed him. So 2 more guards came because I killed him and I killed them too. So the entire fucking city ended up fighting me because of some corrupt guard

Something similar happened to me. I was in solitude in the inn testing to see if its possible to get drunk by buying fuckloads of ale and wine (which is isnt), I walk outside and get attacked by a rogue guard. So I killed him and next thing I got the whole city guard after me.

I now have over 4000 bounty in Solitude.

I would happily buy Skyrim for Xbox if I could transfer my PS3 save file, cba to redo everything, but I keep getting the urge to play it and then realise I'm gonna get maybe 30 mins - 1hr before it dies.

You really should have. It's not a completely pain-free package in comparison, but at least you're given there opportunity to fix and modify the game yourself. I can't even imagine playing a completely vanilla Skyrim anymore. Gives me the creeps.

Just go for another round, it's worth it. Promise. Download it or something, they've already got your money for one legit copy.
