With your eyes. Look around, and once you see something of interest, head towards it. Here's a rundown of the icons: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Maps

Got the game 2 days ago but only had chance to play it today, much better than oblivion imo, only up to level 7 at the moment, is there a max level?

I read somewhere if you get every skill to 100 you'll end up around Lv 80.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
saved the game in combat with a sabre tooth because one killed me the last time, but I kinda saved the game just before it killed me. So everytime the game loaded up it was impossible to get healed before it killed me. Thought I was fucked until I went on load and found the games last 3 auto saves.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
Got this game yesterday, I totally ignored the main quest and have just done the Mages College. Are there any other Mage quests about?

Did you complete all of the Radiant Quests within the College? Also, the Daedric quests have a lot of magic to them.

Mage quest and the Companions are much more cathartic than the lackluster main storyline. The final boss is easy.
