Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I remember the first time I encountered a Dragon Priest on top of Shearpoint and it nearly raping me (only reason it didn't was because Lydia kept attacking it) and me running down the mountain like a bitch.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Yeah, Lydia is dead now for me. I got amubushed by a bunch of Mages and they completely owned her before I could save her. Also, I bought a horse, rode it for about 5 mins, got into a fight with someone and now my horse is gone. He didn't die, either. He's just....gone. I've gone to a few cities and checked the stables, nothing. I also encountered my first quest breaking glicth. I tried to do Waking Nightmare, I followed the guy to the tower but when I go inside, he isn't there and I need him to open the place up. I re-started my file from the last save, still nothing. So I guess I'm not doing it.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I do wish "horse-finding" was considered a skill in Skyrim, because I'd be leveling up like a motherfucker.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

So, this game is crack to me. Can't stop. Got up to level 15 from level 6 this afternoon. Killed 2 dragons, which was bad ass. Leveling up my smiting now so I can make some dragon armor. Smiting is at 55 currently, so 45 more to go.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Smithing is a really good skill to build up and its relatively easy.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

So what's the deal with the treasure maps? I went to the location where the x was mark and nothing happens, do I need a shovel?

It took me awhile but I finally finished the Nirnroots quest
I made a Redguard who usd 2H's and 1H/shield and once you power level blacksmithing (easy - fast travel to all the merchants and buy leather and iron and spam daggers and leather crap, enchant and sell it for profit) and you can get Daedric Gear - you can destroy people. Full Daedric armor and a daedric axe/shield = walking tank. I tear through caves quickly. Just keep all the Daedra Hearts you find. That quest in Dawnstar about the museum (have to be lvl 20 I think) leads to a quest to loot up to four of them alone.

If you are looking to use Heavy armor - Daedric is better. And looks WAY cooler. Dragon heavy armor looks goofy and I'd almost rather use standard steel to look less like a tool.
