Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
I'm enjoying my alternative save as a wood elf assassin type character far more enjoyable than my high elf caster save which I have for now stopped.
My wood elf is level 26 with 100 sneak due to the bear exploit at the beginning of the game, add to that my speech being 80, pickpocket 65 and one hand 45 everything is coming along nicely.
I've began this save by checking out the thieves guild, I've just completed my initiation if you like and I'm now getting more into it. The thing I find superb about this character is just being able to steal such high quality items easily, with a ring equipped which enables me to more easily steal items it's incredibly easy work for gold
Add to that the pickpocket perks which include carrying capacity +100 and speech which enable me to sell any type of item to any merchant is neat. (Plus bribery for those tricky moments)
This is more or less the role I went with in Fallout 3 - sneaky bastard. Love it.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
Just finished the Companions guild line and I have mixed feelings I liked the story but it felt a little rushed.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
I just killed my first giant! It felt awesome, but basturd made me use up a lot of my healing potions. Does anyone know what the giant's toe is for? Not complaining about mutilating him, but does anyone know what good it serves? Is there something I can make with it?

I'm pretty sure it's just keep sneaking around until you get 100 sneak. You can infinitely sneak around without waking up the bear and your sneak level will keep rising.
I'm assuming that's what it is.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
Game got good when I went into that dungeon and had to kill some stuff. Otherwise, so much fucking talking/pointless bullshit, but I'm loving being an Archer.

Aye this
The bear wont attack - it's when you escape at the beginning of the game
