Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I'm currently a vampire and its pretty cool. It changes how you play alot which is great imo. When the sun is out you lose a couple points in Health, stamina and magic plus they don't regenerate at all so you'd have to depend on vegetable soup or potions, or you can use the lady stone like me because it helps regenerate health and stamina. And last as a vampire your weak to fire but resistant to frost, when you have gone a good amount of time without feeding on someone you'll be blood starved and won't be able to enter any holds without being attacked.

Vampire Lord is pretty cool, it's actually helped me alot this run. I am so weak atm I sometimes transform during a big battle and it changes everything.

I might do it purely for aesthetic reasons, vampires eyes look badass.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Yeah they do, i remember on PS3 i made a vampire Dark Elf and he did't look different at all. You would think everyone would know your a vampire just from the glowing eyes lol.

Speaking about Vamps i am really disappointed in The Gift quest. You get it after completeing a couple sidequests if you side with the vampires instead of the Dawnguard. Its basically just turning your spouse into a vampire, i did it but there really isnt any change at all. Last time i played Skyrim a Giant once again attacked my house so i transform into the Vampire Lord and next thing theres 2 red dots on my screen. My wife freaking started running around and tried attacking me. Luckily im decent in illusion and used calm so i didnt have to kill her.

Its just stupid that she is now a vampire yet still becomes hostile when you become a Vampire Lord. Would have been cool though if the Companions had a similar quest to turn someone into a werewolf.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

yeah you would think they would have patched that. Have you finished Dawnguard as on the vampire side in any of your playthroughs so far, Soup? I

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Ive only completed Dawnguard that one time opposing the vampires. Im liking some of the missions ive gotten siding with the vampires. I currently have a quest where I have to dress as a member of the DG and kill anyone in Markarth to cause a scene . Preferably a high ranking official like a merchant.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I got my PS3/360 to go to 1080p on my HDTV, this game is fucking beautiful in full HD. I've started my actual debut quest, the one about getting the Dragonstone to that one wizard, I also unlocked my first shout I believe, speaking of which how do I use it? Also I think I'm going to switch between magic spells and physical weaponry from this gameplay.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

You first have to unlock the shout you gained by spending a soul on it. Go to your Menu where you can choose Map, Magic and so on. Go into magic then down to shouts... that's where you can unlock it with a dragon soul. *You'll get a dragon soul for every dragon you kill*

After you unlock it with the dragon soul just click on the shout then *if you are on a 360 you hit the right shoulder button to use the shout.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Did you choose an Argonian and name him Seath the Scaleless like I told you?

I always get the Dragonstone in the very beginning for the golden claw quest. Been doing that since my very first playthrough. Remember my first time I had it and had no idea what it was for then when the wizard gave the quest I was like oh I have it right here

How many times did it take you to do the door puzzle? Managed to get it done in two tries without any help online.
