Yeah im working my way up to 100 enchanting too , its at 71 as of now . Want to level it up to 100 take extra effect perk and deck out my mage in full heavy enchanted set , but still not sure if i should go for fortify destruction enchants or fortify magic regen on it , im just using so many spells left and right i feel that i wont be able to play without my precious magic regen lol.

Once you get the dual enchant perk you can do both. But also, once your enchanting is top notch you wont need any magic regen at all because you wont use any magicka when you cast a spell. For example, as I pointed out earlier, I have fortify illusion enchants on like 4 pieces *because that's all the magic I use alot* and every time I caste an illusion spell it costs zero magicka so I can do it all day.

Well yeah i understand that , but im using more than school , yes i prioritize destruction and its my main magic source , but i also use some conjuration and some restoration , so im afraid i will be limited to only using destruction with fortify destruction enchants on my gear , or im wrong ?


P.S you are not the first one to tell me that fortify one school of magic is better way to go , so i guess i will just trust everyone who suggested this instead of magic regen and see how it plays out .

Magic regen might be the best way to go early game. Once you are maxed out, though, there's really no need for it.

Ok i just maxed out my enchanting like hour ago and made 100% fortify destruction set , i didnt know you could go all the way up to 100% , thought there is some cap like at 70% , now i understand why there is no need to use magic regen set .

Isnt it awesome now can throw all the fireballs and ice spikes you want. Youll be like a magic machinegun. Blizzard is my favorite Destruction spell, I sometimes do iy in my houses for fun to mess up everything lol.

Getting my illusion magic up. Going to increase it a bit more, there's a rats nest of mages (some seem pretty fucking powerful too) that I need to stealth murder.
