Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

The Dragon Mount is a really poor inclusion in the game. All that happens is the Dragon flys itself and you just target goats, brilliant!

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Yeah its pretty useless, of all the times ive flown I havent spotted an enemy I could attack. And its not even a great way to travel the world since you cant even control them. I travel better as a werewolf.

Next time I play im gonna get jailed and esacpe from every hold. Not in a sneaky way either. Gonna fight my way out and hopefully end up wiyh the 1000 bounty in each Hold achievement. I platiumed my PS3 version a while ago so wanna unlock every achievement here.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Just started playing this for the first time a week ago. It's really pretty good, who'd have thought it?

Like the levelling system. It's very natural and the noticeable, fast improvements to skills you're using often (in my case stealth, archery, one handed, light armour) make it feel like you're actually growing a character instead of just choosing a preset.

Fighting dragons is fun. Fighting two mammoths & two giants is not, although I have avoided that for a while, may be strong enough to deal with them now.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Oh man I remember the first time I pissed off a Giant and Mammoth. Holy fucking shit they destroyed me with ease lol I gave them a wide berth for a very long time after that.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I shot a mammoth with an arrow and a giant ran up behind me and smashed me up into the air. Didn't even see it coming. Did not make that mistake again

I did steal a different giant's mammoth cheese and get fucked up a few hours later, though

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Leveling in Skyrim is perfect. No better feeling than going sniping and summoning a conjure bow and having sneak, archery, and conjuration all level up.
I remember a Giant sent my woman Lydia flying and I thought id never see her again, instead she was back seconds later lol. I should go hunting them since I need their toes. Im producing ungodly amounts of creep cluster and wheat in my house. My potions are worth a fortune

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I'm up to level 30, near enough, and I barely feel like I've scratched the surface yet, let alone counting the quest log full of missions I haven't started. This could take up a lot of my year.

Dont forget that even after you will somewhat "finish" the game , there are a lot of builds to experience with (new characters i mean) , so you probably play the game more than once .

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I've put several hundred hours into this game and I'm not gonna apologize for it.

I was thinking of what it'd be like to play as a mage character, and a pure power character with heavy armour, two handed weapons, etc. Now I'm starting to think there may not be enough time left to finish the game with all 3..
