Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Oh yeah, no way. You could level up and all without killing anything but 99% of the quests would be undoable except if you don't count follower kills as your own.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Just playing Skyrim again for the helluva. Level 24 and I haven't even got Jurgen Windcaller's horn or what not. Spending most of the playthrough fucking around doing side quests and just leveling up. You can have amazing fun without even playing the main quest which is what makes this game great in my mind.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I got to level 50 with one of my characters and I still hadn't done Diplomatic Immunity. Never actually finished the main quest.

Been playing this again since I got it on XBox now. Looking forward to eventually doing some DLC.

Yeah, I remember it actually took me around 100+ hours to get close to finishing the main questline. I was just so engrossed with other side quests and if I found a dungeon, cave, castle etc. I just couldn't help myself but explore it.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I only completed the main quest to see how the dialogue would change in the Dragonborn dlc. I was at almost 100 and still had to do find Esbern.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

The damn diplomacy quest in High Hrothgar glitched on my current playthrough. Console commands gods help me...

Currently Level 39 on an Assassin/Thief Khajiit class and still haven't been to High Hrothgar yet.. Thinking about playing with no HUD, Master/Expert difficulty and having to Eat, Sleep and Drink a certain amount of times per day.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Do it Daiko, this games desperately needs F:NV style hardcore mode.

Spoiler for don't judge me:
I just wanna justify my toon constantly eating troll blubber 3

Does anyone else skip the Bleak Falls Barrow all the way until you finish every other quest imaginable? I've found the constant dragon fights every time I travel to Dawnstar or Riverwood insufferable so I clean out Bleak Falls and fight my first dragon only after I've done pretty much everything else in the game (guilds, side quests, thane quests, etc.).

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I love the dragon fights. I welcome them every single time. Good source of gold and if you have the DLC's they are good for making weapons.
