Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

After a long time of not playing this game , i saw this thread here and im bored at the moment and have a lot of free time , so decided to play it again , damn this game is so amazing that even after some time its still a blast to play , create various characters/builds etc. The only thing that i dont like about skyrim that most of the action is in dungeons which i dont like , i rather have open space battles or something like that , but well thats just me , still this game is a masterpiece .

Also are any of you playing/played it on PC ? I have one question about graphics and im not sure which setting will fix my "problem" , im playing on high textures and everything else turned off pretty much , due to my graphics card being only 512mb , but i noticed one thing that my characters hair has a bit of lightning to it like shoes which have been waxed , any of you know which setting can change that ?

I'm kinda amazed this game is still $60 at most retailers. I mean its been out over a year now.

Well in europe it costs like 25pounds which is like 45 bucks .

Edit:I checked some US shop websites , its really 60 bucks over there ,wow thats pretty stupid , you could get it for 40~ here in europe from the same stores just UK ones . Thats strange.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Yeah I bought the game at launch for the PS3 because I didn't have an XBox at the time and no one could have predicted it would be a bigger mess on one system than the other, so now I kind of want to get it for XBox but its still $60. I'll probably wait until the eventual GOTY edition with all the DLC and shit. Have plenty of stuff to play anyways.

I bought a used copy on Amazon or maybe it was Ebay for 40 bucks. That's taking a huge chance though but lucky for me it worked out well.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Been playing a new character the last couple of weeks really got back into Skyrim, he's a redguard called Kobe i'm like level 13, not played the game in like six months so it's like starting over again. Still not bought any DLC yet, which one's better out of Dragonborn and Dawnguard?

Haven't played Dragonborn but it's probably a lot better than Dawnguard.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

In my opinion i would say Dragonborn is better. The world is amazing and just the new additions make it much better plus the shouts are very fun. I haven't even used any new spells. Oh and the new armor look awesome, my character looks badass in Carved Nordic Armor.

Dawnguard is good cuz the replay value is better since you can either side with the vampires or go against them.

Yeah I actually picked it up at a Gamestop and got a used copy for the same amount. I'll probably play tomorrow.
