I was just about to start it. Im an xbox user now idk what to do lol, feel like completeing the main quest then going onto the dlc hoping I would see the new creatures during my wandering.
I feel silly. I bought the Dragonbone armor and a dragon prop for my avatar.
*alright fast traveled to talk to Delphine and these Cultist attacked me and quest has officially been started lol. Guess what I have 2 Cultist as followers now lol. Dead Thrall is awesome except for all the moaning and groaning
Yes its fantastic so far. The area looks great and ive encountered a couple new enemies.my Plasma Cutter was almost useless against them. I upped the difficulty to Master cuz I guess ive left it on expert and as soon as I did that a single wood elf was giving me fits. And im currently fighting 2 mages that are fighting and man did I forget how powerful these bitches are lol. Gonna need to create some resistence gear soon but not right away cuz restoration magic is saving my but. Greater Ward in one hand to block and absorb their magic and summon dremora lord in another game is hard and u shouldnt be op. Unless ur always going sneak which is very op.
Dont get me started on Deathlords.. I completed the main quest last night, I went flying left and right constantly. I always hated Skuldafn cuz the amount there. One arrow shot from them always almost kills me. What I also hate is my carry weight is never high enough. I left there with 6 ebony battle axes and 4 ebony warhammers and a ebony great sword. Had to drop a ton of ebony bows. U know how much money I can make after smithing and enchanting them.
Oh and dont fast travel if u dont have to. For the first time I walked from.riverwood to the sky haven temple. The amount of enemies I encountered was fun. And I even saw Alduin raise a Dragon for the first time outside that quest with Delphone. Shit started attacking while it was still bone.
*why cant my son ever have a fox follow him. Its always a skeever or mudcrab. A pet in the house woukd be cool
My daughter found a dog somewhere and I let her keep it *of course* lol
I enjoy walking the map... mostly because I enjoy looking for ingredients for potions and you find tons of them just walking from one place to the next.
I've seen Alduin raise a dragon one time out in the open and it was during my first playthrough. That's another thing I love about this game is you don't always see everything in a single playthrough. You can go hundreds of gameplay hours without seeing something that others see rather quickly.
Next time I'm on the game I'll write down my statistics and what weapons and gear I wear while fighting. Right now I'm a one handed tank type player. Shield and Sword/Mace and bring on the fight. I don't sneak and never use a bow outside of dragon fighting and I only use the bow until the dragon is grounded.
I'm using Marked for Death alot lately as well. I really like that shout...especially against those damn fish that attack. You can't see them so just go out onto the bank and do the shout into the water and if it strikes them then they start to die inch by health bar inch.
when I play hide and seek with my kids I use invisibility and detect life
I mostly use my stasis bow cuz I usually summon things but in dungeons I go one hand and shield. I think I should have focused on some destruction. Ive seen alot of mages and my greater ward blocks and absorbs whatever they throw at me but I have no ranged attack I could use on them. Think I might create a bow with a shock enchantment and a soul steal one. im starting to collect black soul gems. Might call it the Seeker Rifle but Javelin sounds better. Once u get quick shot it feels like going from pistol to an assault rifle. Hell Pulse Rifle is a great name too. I over do it my game is essentially a crossover now
I discovered a new enchantment before I turned it off this enchantment looks like its gonna be awesome.
oh damn you for cutting your post off before telling us what the enchantment is/does!
Get a good shield and double enchant it with block and resist magic.. that helps alot with those mage's. Also complete the quest that give you the Agent of Mara which gives you a permanent magic resit buff of 15 percent. You get that by completing the Book of Love quest in Riften.
You can max out at 85 percent magic resistance and that's usually what I am. I'm Breton so I start the game with 25 percent magic resistance. And I use the Lord Stone which gives me a plus 25 percent magic resistance.
So those stacked on with the Agent of Mara and my shield puts me at the max of 85 percent magic resist.
