It's pretty long (that's what she said haha) but yeah it's a long quest so prepare yourself with alot of battle potions like paralyze and slow and heal regen. 
Actually take her to help you fight Giants. she's powerful.

Once I turn werewolf I can kill Giants easily. No need for Serana..
Well arrived at the castle snd made the choice to remain a werewolf. Was cool they actually mentioned that I was one. Next time I will choose vampire lord though.
Just picked up The Blades Sword one of my faves. Should be a great vampire slayer weapon.

I forgot about that. Have the quest but havent started it yet. Will it hurt me also since im a werewolf. I know if ur a vamp u get hurt by the explosions.

More vampire attacks killing useful ppl in Riften.
Im finding the Night Eye power completely useless but man do claw attacks rule. I swear my unarmed combat is stronger than my one armed. All I do is cast oakflesh and claw away. Doing a thieves guild quest then I'll be off to get Dawnbreaker then time to continue Dawnguard

There's a glitch where the Vamp attacks never end and can make some towns like ghost towns lol.
Danwguard was worth way less than 20$ IMO.

I had alot of vampire attacks my first playthrough with Dawnguard. Don't have nearly as many this time though. I did show up in Riverwood to find that the shop keepers sister lying dead in the road and the shop keeper is no where to be found. I'm assuming vampires did it. That sucks because I liked that shop alot lol. I might as well go in and steal that damn claw back now.... Nostalia wont allow it though haha

Dawnbreaker is working really well against vampires. Dont know what to use my left hand for alot. I plan on not using a shield so been using oakflesh to help with armor and illusion spells like courage and muffle. Need to get detect life and detect dead if I plan on being a sneak character.
Enjoying Dawnguard so far especially since I see me doing a Vamp walkthrough once im done with my current one. Which could happen next year lol. Might have to drop Serana because she resists the Courage spells I use on her. Just bought an Armored Troll and they look awesome lol

I love the Dawnguard arc, Soup. I think you're going to enjoy it as well. The Soul Cairn stuff is pretty awesome.
