Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

YAAAAAY! I've had a ton of fun with Hearthfire alone. I didn't think I'd like it but I've loved it.

And here you thought you bought too much lumber

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Im actually sad now that I have to go back to doing quests lol. When do the other Jarls tell you that you can buy land? The area will decide if I build a family type house or an armory one. I know you can mine iron ore but its probably better to just buy, the amount of iron ingots I used I would had to probably spend numerous hours trying to mine it lol. I think im pretty much set with this house no need for a bard when this is supposed to be my quiet relaxing house. Now im gonna hsve to buy books from the guy at the College.

This is really an awesome piece of DLC. Might not add quests but it adds a ton of gameplay time for me just gathering materials and building an awesome house. Cant wait to fill a house up with ppl. Its also cool how making nails, hinges and other things help with smithing.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I don't think they do Soup. You just go up and talk to them. I think in Dawnstar you have to do the Nightmare quest and then after that you can buy land. I'm not sure about the other one. I haven't even attempted that one yet. When you do let me know how it is. The Dawnstar house is right beside a Giant camp haha

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I thought the Mead Barrels were just for decoration but I actually made Mead lol. I will have yo get more land later when I have the money. Who would have thought that I could create a bigger house for a cheaper price. The one in Solitude is 20,000 excluding upgdades lol. I actuslly marked when I talked to the carriage guy at my house when actually had many locafions instead of tbe usual Holds. I should probably build an alchemy table lol why have a Greenhouse when im not gonna create potions. Im currently planting numerous things will prob just change it to creep clusters and wheat later.

Had no idea where Lydia was today then I rememberd I sent her to get lumber. Oh and yeah I thought I had too much lumber I didnt know id need that much. I still need to find amulets now.cuz I need them for my shrine in the cellar plus other ingots.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Getting back to playing Skyrim after a long hiatus. Question though, will downloading Hearthfire spawn any dragons? Because I really don't want dragons in the game at this point. I like my friendly NPC's alive until I can afford them potentially dead.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I dont think they spawn dragons. Ive heard as long as you dont do that quest for the Jarl of Whiterun to kill the Dragon then you wont get any. Only times ive fought dragons are when im in a Hold. Was wandering earlier today and heard one so I crouched and hid till it left. Im almost lvk 20 but havent used a single perk and Im just wearing Vampire Armor and vampire boots so im pretty week. Also had an encounter where 3 spiders, 2 wolves and a bear were after me. I ran to a city so guards could help me cuz id be surley dead.

Being a werewolf is so much better now. I actually killed a bunch of Silver Hand ppl all while being a werewolf. Spent perks on the totem ones but I forgot I have to do the missions to get totems, really want the one that calls or summoning werewolves.

If you didn't finish the mission in the MQ where you kill the first dragon, no.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

No Panther, I don't think so. It just allows you to buy land and build houses. As far as I know it has nothing to do with more dragons spawning.
