You know, if you do the math on say, a daedric longsword (one handed sword) and a daedric dagger, 6 times the sword's damage is about the same, or more than 15x the dagger's damage; especially once smithed up. So the cool-sounding 15x damage really isn't any more than 6x a sword damage since swords usually do 2 1/2x more damage or more anyway. :\ Kinda sucks really. . .daggers just needed higher regular damage to offset that. Even smithing doesn't help assuming you smithed both types of weapons.
Also daggers don't benefit from any fortify one handed enchantments. Right now my dragonbone sword is over 500 damage and my dagger is only a bit over 100 *with all my one handed gear on*. I rarely use a dagger even for double handed attacks. I usually use a mace and sword or a mace and war axe. The only time I use my dagger *and I used the double damage gloves when doing it so it's like a ridiculous 30x damage* is when I'm bored and decide to go stealth and sneak up on people.
Now that I'm about as badass as I can get sometimes I'll fight a mammoth with my soul dagger just to get it's soul or something but that's about it.
Really love using werewolf. it helps a ton with the traveling too and discovering new places. What I do is kill everyone at a bandit hideout then transform and eat the hearts cuz I dont think im powerful to kill them all.
HGirl you think 15000 is enough for the best house possible. what's everything you need to build a house. I was getting clay somewhere near the Goldenglow estate and it seemed like it was an infinite amount and I dont even know whag clay is needed for lol.
That's plenty enough to get you started, Soup. You don't have to do everything at once. You can build it slowly if you like. You'll find Clay and Rock and an iron ore or two on yoru property when you buy it. So you don't even have to stock pile that and the Clay and Rock are indeed infinite. The things you need to buy are hay and glass and keep as many iron ingots as you can because you need those to turn into nails, hinges and locks. You'll need corrondum for locks as well. But yeah you could easily go get your land and start.
Oh yeah you'll need some lumber. You'll have some already on your property but you'll have to buy the rest. It's 200 gold for 20. You'll need about a hundred or so lumber *not really sure how accurate that number is btw* but that's about it.
Striker, might be due to you wearing heavy armor? If not here's what I did. I sneak up to them in crouch mode until the pick pocket icon comes up then I hit the strike button. It works for me.
If you have boots that muffle you it helps as well. Or enchanted armor with fortify sneak.
Are there any fences early on or would I have to join the thieves guild to get them. I have alot of things I wanna sell, stolen stuff.
Just got the ring of hircine now off to do the quest so I can get some land. so excited to start construction on my house lol.
I feel kinda weak when it comes to combat lol. I have 16 perks to use. Currently lvl 17, if im going for a sneaky archer who uses illusion, conjuration, some destruction, restoration what perks should I get in the combst related trees. I will be going completely one handed. And thinking of swifching the thief stone to the mage one. I dont care about the other thief trees beside sneak but I do care bout more than one magic tree.
