No perks siding with either I think. Ive done both and nothing has really happened. only thing that really happens in game would be different Jarls at some places depending on how u made decisions during the Treaty conference.

here ya go, Soup. It's best to do this while the Khajit's are there. You can quickly sell your items to them for the gold and then go back to the chest and get the items you sold them back for free. Once you do that, go back to the Khajit's and wait 48 hours. The chest will replenish with different loot. Rinse and repeat. If the Khajit aren't there though you have to wait a 10 or so game days for the chest to respawn new items.
Now of course I wouldn't suggest that for someone who is playing for the first time because it really cheats the game. But you've done this numerous times so you deserve it. You've paid your dues, so to speak. That's how I justify it to myself anyway haha

Yes I have paid my dues lol. Having fun right now, using destruction atm and never noticed they had kill cams which look cool. I chose the Thief stone since I plan on being sneaky.
If I become a werewolf once Dawnguard is downloaded all the new stuff automatically comes with it right. Im not gonna have to start Dawnguard to be able to use the new stuff?

Now that you have the DLC there is a new mission you can do which gives you an amulet and once you are wearing that circlet it lets you have two Stones active at once which I found pretty cool. It's called the Aetherial Crown and to get it you need to pick up a book called The Aetherium Wars. You can find a copy in several places. I found mine in Dragons reach at that mage's library thingee. You have to actually put the book in your inventory to start the quest though.
Once you finish the quest you get to forge either the Aetherial Crown, the Aetherial Shield or the Aetherial Staff.
The Shield turns enemies that are bashed with it ethereal for 15 seconds and causes them to run away.
The Staff spawns a Dwemer spider or Sphere for 60 seconds.
I chose the crown. Keep in mind that you can only do this once.

The shield sounds freaking awesome and funny but I probably wont be a warrior type person so wont be using a shield often. I guess the crown is the only logical choice for me since later I'll be able to summon way way stronger things

Destruction is cool in the beginning but is horrible at later levels.
It's great at later levels if you use, for example, Thunderbolt (the level 75 lightning spell that does 90 damage after you get perks to buff it up) in each hand, and alternate firing them from each hand. Lightning Storm is okay, but tbh I find it's faster and less sloppy to just use two Thunderbolts. You can also have one in each hand charged and fire them together for 180 damage, by charging one first then the other (not at the same time for the weaker dual-cast effect).
The damage isn't the same as a "alchemy-induced overpowered smithed weapon", but you can do it from across the room and for 0 MP if you enchant "Destruction Magic cost reduced by 25%) onto four pieces of equipment (helm, amulet, ring, and armor). Making your destruction spells cost 0 MP. Which lets you fire them infinitely and willy nilly if you want.
I definitely don't agree that it sucks late game. It's dope if you do it right. And I prefer the thunder stuff to the other types because they come out faster and also crush MP off of mages. The freeze one, Icey Spear, isn't bad either though. but fireball's too sloppy since it sorta blows up and blows loot around a bit.
Yeah the first time I played I was a Destruction master it was basically all I used. I just hated the Master Spells. Dont like having to use to hands, Blizzard always looked epic but never felt powerful enough. It probably didnt help that back then I didnt know how powerful alchemy and enchanting can be.
Im like grabbing every ingredient I see because im sure creating potions is a great way to lvl up early on.
