Just finished it as a Stormcloak. I enjoyed it. I would've been happy if it had more of a story than, go to this fort, win, repeat.

lol, my gear is so done up that all I need is my mace and some chain lighting and it's over, normal enemies (bandits, forsworn & such) only take 1 hit from my Dragonbone mace to die, on occasion I'll use the slow time shout and take out 5 guys w/ease

If you're tanking, like I am this playthrough all you need really are healing potions and veggy soup. Seriously the veggy soup is awesome. It lets you continue to do power move after power move without completely losing stamina. As you probably know it takes at least one stamina point to do a power move. But if you run out of stamina then you're screwed while you wait. Veggy Soup gives you a plus 1 health point and plus 1 stamina point per second for 760 seconds and since it takes more than a second to do a power move you can do them over and over and over without being stopped due to lack of stamina.

That's a big deal for a tank player.

Also if you have shield perks it's great as well. You can continually do power bashes with your shield without interruption. The chance to disarm perk in blocking is great. You can shield bash and if the player loses his weapon you can quickly pick it up leaving them weaponless for the rest of the fight.

It's funny LC I amke a nd collect a shit ton of potions but hardly ever use, for healing I just use the close wounds spell, I haven't the foggiest idea why I feell the need to collect everything I see, maybe comes from being poor in my younger years, lol

I use close wounds as well. But if you're a tank then that's a bitch to do if you're in a battle with three or four people at a time. You can't just take the time to use that. So I hot key my most powerful healing potions and use them from the favorites list. It's pretty good like that. Now after a battle I'll use close wounds when I have the time to do it.

Close wounds is especially good if you're a long range archer because you can take the time to do it by finding some cover. But as a tank I find it to be too difficult so I use the potions. Right now my healing potions heal something like 222 points so those work great and are instant. Also if you use them from your favorites menu you can see how many you actually need to completely heal as your health meter is in plain view as opposed to having to go into your inventory to use them without knowing how many you need. When I go out to battle I usually have at least 15-20 of those suckers on hand

You collect those ingredients, might as well put them to good use CMW

since when do ppl need potions and spells to heal lol. Only time ive used potions to heal is when i am facing an ancient dragon. I have tons of Ultimate Healing Potions and so on plus potions i made myself. Has anyone went to route of restoration. Im starting to feel like going that route in another playthrough. Say i have enchanted gear that reduces the use of magic when using restoration. Wouldnt i be able to walk around with a constant Steady Ward or whatever the strongest one is and pretty much be unstoppable against magic users.

And call me a pussy cuz i summon Dremora or use Dead Thrall to raise ppl from the dead lol. I still feel f'n awesome being a conjuration master. its probably my 2nd fav magic after Illusion of course. Alteration is fun too but i guess its more defensive. the master spell is pretty useless imo though. Paralyze was awesome to use though. I wish Telekinesis was more useful lol. I could have really been a Sith if it worked properly. Being a Master in Illusion and Alteration is a great combo though. my last character who was sneaky was that. Would cast detect life or detect dead all the time and it helped a ton more than the shout aura whisper

well then i might just get some Fine Clothes and wear instead of my dbl enchanted Daedric Armor. Whoes gonna touch me right. im untouchable

ever since getting quick shot all i do is stand in the back shooting arrow after arrow with my Daedric Paralyzing Bow. You stopped loving archery and now i am loving it lol. other day i was wandering and saw 2 Redguards questioning a chick. I one shotted them both was so awesome. had to kill her too since she was a witness
