honestly nope lol. Destruction just isnt much fun. Illusion and Conjuration are def more entertaining than Destruction. I hated it because once i learned my Master spells i couldnt go one hand magic and one weapon. And then i didnt know how awesome enchanting was so could barely use my Master Spells. If i were you i would go Conjuration since you arent going the sneaky route now. use illusion next time.
If you wanna be destruction without focusing on Destruction.buy as many scrolls as you can. Oh and even though Destruction sucks Blizzard always looks epic

I might switch over to illusion. Destruction was cool at first but very boring now. Or one handed and bound sword. Im not sure. I'll probably do bound sword since illusion seems like something that is fun on its own character.
and if you wanna lvl up conjuration fast in the earlier levels then use Bound Sword in each hand and cast it when an enemy is around. Youll go up one lvl just about everytime. And for Illusion Muffle helps a ton too. And if your a massive looter you should always use trainers at Winterhold. Because they sell items you can train then you can just sell them whatever you have and make your money back.

It's times like this that I wish I had it on the 360, damn PS3 and it's DLC issues.
I'm glad I got mine for Xbox. I originally was planning on getting it for Ps3, but I borrowed my friends Xbox copy for so long I didn't want to start over. So I bought the Xbox copy.
Yeah, Destruction spells got boring rather quickly. All I was really using in that category was Fire spells and nothing more. So I switched to Conjuration and was having a blast, you can level it up pretty quickly just by raising a dead body. Now I have Flame Atronach and Frost Atronach just kicking ass for me.

As a conjuration Mage, how should I handle most dungeons.
My order:
Summon Frost Atronach
Companion also summons atronach and uses destruction on enemies
I stay back healing and running behind enemies with a bound sword
Is there any better way to do it? Not including the first part. That's the best conjuration spell I have.
Yesterday was so frustrating. I discovered this ruin ive never been to in any of my playthroughs. Had to climb a mountain which is tedious. Well there is an Ancient Dragon waiting there, a Dragon Priest and numerous Draugr Deathlords. Well I got blown off the cliff the first times, unfortunately I had to start at Solitude since no save, so clmibed mountain again and what do you know, blown off again and dead. So climbed a third time killed the dragon and priest and shield charged those Draugr off the freaking mountain.
Stiker your doing it right, Frost Atronachs work perfectly if your gonna attack the enemy from behind. Im telling you though once you get the summon Dremora spell youll be all set. They are badass. If you want to get them without the spell do the a Night to Remember quest, the one where you have the drinking contest to get the Sanguine Rose

haha I would have saved it the second time up that mountain ... I hate trying to get up some of those mountains because I always try to do it the hard way. ...
What is the name of that ruin? I wanna find that!
