Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

really sounds like a great add on. Its nothing huge involving quests but im sure it will add a ton of time for certain players. Im guessing you have to have lots of money to be able to big a huge house and i wonder could you build houses as big as the house in Solitude.

It doesn't take too much money. Especially since you can mine most of the material for free. This house only has 2 stories. But it's still bigger than the one in Solitude.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Starting my third save after the previous 2 have cocked up on me. 80 hours and 45 hours for them both.

I should be annoyed, but I'm stoked to play through it all again.

I'm really enjoying this add on. The only problem is my tv is too small for the picture, and it ends up cutting some of the text off. So I can't figure out the last material I need to make beds.
The last ingredient for a bed is 2 straw. If you need any other help lemme know. :

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Most of the stuff I haven't seen until this playthrough. Stuff like hay, nails. and goat horns. Iron ingots and corondum ingots are used as well.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

alright so most of the stuff is added with the dlc. Iron Ingots are easy to get though so i'll stock up. Probably should get married now then. Heard you can have your own bard in the house lol how awesome is that.

Yep 1500 gold for one.

I just bought my second piece of land from Falkreath and I don't really like it that much. The land you get from Dawnstar is a lot nicer imo.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

So you think you could buy a deed in every hold then.

I'll create my Khajiit once this comes out probably and I will try my hardest to not fast travel at all, feels like fast traveling takes away from the game. So many encounters can happen while walking everywhere.
