Re: Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim

Is that where the quests are apparently never ending? It's quite good but boring, they're all collect item type of quests.

At least theres always something to do though.

I figured that close to what it was going to be, it would be hard to make a dynamic questing system that's completely random.

Date broken. Bought it this afternoon. Played 2 hours, loving already. Better than all releases so far, including Arkham City. Chrono Trigger's perfect, in reference to the 'no game is perfect'.

Re: Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim

I never had a single bug on Fallout 3 or New Vegas, hoping my luck will continue with Skyrim tomorrow.

Re: Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim

Never had any problems with Fallout 3. Saw some minor stupid shit in New Vegas on a regular basis though, like enemies in the ground. nothing gamebreaking and worth getting mad about.

Re: Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim

I'm amazed that Edge gave such a high score to a Bethesda game. They gave Fallout 3 a 6/10. Still, will be getting this tomorrow, can't fucking wait.

Same goes for people that have never encountered a single bug in any Fallout game, even if they are minor.

Not a 10 as no game is perfect.

Re: Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim

The main thing I'm hoping for is the sense of exploration is like it was in FO3. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels like this, but Oblivion while it was great game a lot of the locations were just plain. In Fallout you had great spots like the Durnwhich building, Death claw sanctuary, Republic of Dave, etc. It was if there was a story behind every location.

Re: Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim

About 30 minutes into the game, loving it so far. I didn't even max out all shits but the graphics look amazing, the water flowing out from the cave looks really good. The engine is improved, although it's still not that good, but this game is great so far. The character models also looks really good and not so goofy and weird like in Oblivion. I will put some more hours into the game in the weekend.
