Yeah going back and forth, especially with the loading screens, can be tedious. I would like the huge house just to eliminate that... that's if I don't actually have to go outside *hence the load screen anyway*. If I still have to go outside to use the smithing utilities then I might as well just use my house in Riften where I do it now anyway.

That being said I wouldn't mind it being outside if I have places to store my smithing materials outside as well.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Hope ur being evil in Infamous 2.

I actually dont mind the loading screens, most of the time its something im interested in like the Frost Troll with that come at me.bro stance or the werewolf or that red headed female mage with a staff

Ive played last couple days and I really think my game is glitched. Past ppl ive used my dead thrall on have come back to life and attack me. I had an Orc boss appear in Riften kill a npc and a guard before I killed him, had a Vampire Master appear when I fast traveled to windhelm and a Forsworn Briarheart appear in Solitude.

really living the perks in archery. Now staggering enemies and shooting more faster. Hss anyone used the Slow shout and then shoy arrows lol. Matrix :lebron

With games like Infamous 2 where you can play as either I tend to lpay through first as good then the 2nd time have more fun and be evil, I am ony 2nd play through now and love collateral damage!!

The slow shout is great for shooting arrows at dragons in flight! Love doin that!

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

If you really want slow Dragons have a Master Necromancer with you. They will be chucking Ice Spikes at Dragons and they actually start flying in slowmotion. I know how they feel cuz I hate that happening to me.

I actually use the disarm shout alot more now since I have all 3 words and im a heavy armor 2 hand guy. I charge in alot and disarming them is cool.

Beat Infamous twice first bad then good and I enjoyed bad way more.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Have you put any perks in blocking yet Soupman? I didn't until this playthrough and I'm absolutely loving it.

Being a Breton I automatically get a 25 percent resistance to magic. I also have the neverending Agent of Mara blessing which gives me an additional 15 percent magic resistance. Now I have enchanted my shield with 23 percent magic resistance *and 40 percent more block* coupled with the Elemental Protection perk in the blocking tree which give ms a 50 percent reduction in Frost, Fire and Shock damage mages and dragons really can't do shit to me. haha I can sit there and paint my nails while Mage's try their weakass assaults and it makes no difference.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I heard that the game works around how you play. Like if your a mage almost everyone uses electric attacks. when I speny my 2nd playthrough as a vampire I can say every place I went in to dealt with fire mages, now as a heavy armor player ive dealt with frost a ton. I wonder what youll run into seeing how your basically impervious to magic LC. And I havent put any in block yet cuz its harder to lvk uo but maybe I'll just use that *cough* glitch *cough* and lvl up faster. It isnt cheating if I beat the main storyline and ended the civil war.

I was planning on waiting for Dawnguard but keep hearing bad news like problems are probably unsolvable on PS3. So I will start a new playthrough where I will be completely sneaky. Put perks into sneak, alchemy, archery and maybe illusion. Should I be a Khajit or Argonian. Still cant decide.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

The best way to level up blocking is to get a good dragon/Daedric shield and go find a giant. put the shield in your left hand and your healing spell in your right. Your blocking will level up incredibly fast.

You'll also level up your light/heavy armor while doing that...not to mention your restoration.

Also if you're going the sneaky route make sure you level up illusion to 70 and go to the college of Winterhold to get the invisibility spell. the best way to level up said illusion is with the muffle spell.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

LC the expert in Skyrim even though i had it first training me in alchemy, sneak, archery, enchanting and now block lol. I'll try the Giant trick soon, if you block can they still send you flying? Ive only seen Lydia go flying , im always scared that even at lvl 50 plus they will pull out that critical hit.

Still didnt help me decide between Khajit or Argonian. Ive played basically every race besides those 2.

You might still go flying back stunned a little but as long as it's not a killing blow you should be ok. Also you're good in alteration aren't you? If you get into too much trouble you can hit the giant with pacify to buy yourself some healing time. Also if you have the invisibility spell you can cast that, crouch and hid to heal yourself. Just save it before you try this on a Giant... and make sure there are no Mammoths around. I always go to Sugunda's Kiss for that. There are never any Mammoths but sometimes there are two Giants so be careful. Kill one and use the other to level blocking.

If you're going sneaking go with Khajit. I like the night vision from the Khajit.

Check out this blocking video
