Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
Am i right or am i wrong LC. freaking so much ingredients they weighed you down.
you got the hearts from killing Daedra after that Museum daedric quest right. When i do that thats when i'll create my Daedric armor. since everything i want is at a high lvl and i cant train in them i'll pay for alchemy training every lvl. I didnt know i could become so wealthy enchanting iron daggers lol. i could seel 1 for about 400 a pop. I only like training only when i can sell them stuff and get my money back. if i have perks available what should i get for the alchemy tree.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
lol you are indeed correct about that SoupMan. On my first playthrough I moved from Whiterun to Markarth and I had over 3000 lbs of ingredients alone.
And yeah the skill tree leaves alot to be desired. I just use a few perks in there anyway to serve my purpose.

You can summon 2 thrall atronachs yes. I usually do but then I kill them because the noise (from storm atronachs especially) is too much. That's also why I can't stand dead thrall. I used it on some mental Necromancer dude and he kept groaning like once every 20 seconds. There's only so many times I can stand hearing 'nnnggghh'. Feels pretty badass having your own army at your disposal though (combination of me with thralls/companion/dragon is quite nice)
You probably killed them yourself in a drunken stupor

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
Soup I would reccomend the first perk that increases the benefits of your potions then up to benefactor. I am debating getting extracting just so its easier to unlock new recipies but to be fair I could easily look it up online to save myself three perks. Green thumb would be amazing but you would have to get the posion perks. Purify seems like a great concept but I rarely run into the situation where I need it. unfourtantly, I think alchemy is one of the worse perk trees while the skill is great I don't see a reason to go past benefactor.

I agree Kaz. Really no need in going past Benefactor.
Doc, I probably did.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
yeah ok so i'll just train my way up to a good lvl in alchemy and get the perks that help with poisons. cuz in reality im a fucking Dragonborn Archmage Werewolf soon to add Nightingale and possibly Listener lol i dont need any stinking healing potions. im like Wolverine i heal fast
Yeah this Briarheart is starting to annoy me with his groans. Still havent seen him in combat cuz all im doing is making weapons, enchanting them and selling them now alchemy training. I just enchanted all of my Blades armor. Was my second favorite armor only to what LC is repping in her sig and avatar. So since im focusing on heavy armor its a must for me.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
I tried a Misc. quest yesterday where I had to go to a ford and kill a bandit leader. Got to the ford, spend about 20-30 minutes killing everyone inside (some were pretty damn strong too). Quest completetion didn't pop up, turned out I had gone to the wrong ford, as the one I needed was apparently just a little bit further. :
Got some good loot out of it though, I have about 16k gold atm. In Oblivion I had like 2 million because I did a paralyses spell glitch to get rich lol.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
I had a quest like that but it was at this place where i'd already done a quest previously so the enemies I needed to kill never actually spawned, just the ones I already killed

I like Skyrim, love the graphics and the gameplay, too bad I'm too busy and can't play it as often as I used to.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
Skyrim is addicting. You could just wanna play for a couple minutes and end up playing hours. I remember one time i played a couple hours and didnt complete one quest at all. DLC will add alot. Atleast your saying its a great game though. ive seen ppl play 40 hours and finish the main quest and just stop. U just dont have the time im sure when you do youll get caught in that world.
