That's interesting, I always assumed she was invincible unless she fell to her death. Had a battle with an Ancient Dragon, Shadowmere entered the fight, took a licking but kept on ticking.

I may have to start using multiple save slots. I usually wouldn't revert back, but i'm not losing that horse! I already lost my Wabbajack, and that killed 10% of my Skyrim fun :P

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

If you have the difficulty extremely high like Expert or Master it's damn near impossible to kill or even hurt her. But if you don't hurt her you can't heal her which levels your restoration.

I didn't think she could be killed either but in my first playthrough on a medium difficulty she and I were fighting a dragon and I accidentally shot her with a very powerful bow and it killed her. I was devastated.

That Horse looks far too badass with the Daedric Armor I crafted.

I started off on Adept. Some boss battles are tough, but the game isn't as challenging to me as Oblivion was. If I decide to give it a second playthrough, i'll definitely boost it up to Expert or Master.

She respawned for me in my second game, she died, came back around to where she died ten or so hours later of play time and she was standing where she died.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

came home from work and started playing again and addicted as usual lol. Dragons gotta be so stupid to land at the College. we killed an Elder Dragon so quick. Thinking of trying to get through the Main Quest. just got my conjuration to lvl 90 so Thrall spells are coming soon fuck yeah.

And illusion is very easy to lvl. In the beginning at early lvls. basically everytime you use the spell muffle you go up a lvl. I spent alot of time getting money for training too. You shouldnt give up though like ive said i felt being a master destruction magic player was a disappointment and in my 2nd playthrough when i focused on illusion i fucking loved it. the spells dont kill anyone but just being able to fight a group of bandits then boom Pacify and they are just standing there and you can talk to them or just sneak up behind them and slit their throats. Illusion is also the way to go if your playing stealthy since if you ever get seen use pacify or just turn invisible.

here is a way to lvl up illusion, desruction, restoration. All in your own basement at the Dawnstar Sanctuary once you upgrade the place.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Destruction magic is very challenging. It's not powerful at all and I rarely use it.

Also as I said I checked to see the hours played in this playthrough and it's 172

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

172 all together or just on Katniss. Destruction sucks too cuz ive killed Lydia countless times cuz of it lol. And it isnt very powerful at all. Blizzard looks amazing too, i think in every playthrough now and later i wont care about Master Spells, just hate that you gotta use 2 hands so. One of the reaons i switched to illsuion was it was better with companions. Went i went all Ninja i was in Nightingale armor and without companions and when i knew it was gonna be a war i was in glass armor with companions. Casting Rally on companions helps a ton too.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Yeah this 172 hours is just on Katniss. I had over 200 hours on Arya Stark Yeah I think I love this game.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

ok i have 159 hours for Prime, 125 for Zeus, and 46 for Ned Stark. You really love this game more than me and i though that was impossible. I think i got the game before you too. You must live in the WWE universe where theres about 50 hours a day. Skyrim is the only game where i have unlocked all achievements/trophies and i continue to play the game a ton. really cant wait for the DLC. says its about 15-20 hours but im sure the die hard Skyrim fans can turn it into 100+ plus hours.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

As slow as I play I'll turn it into another 200 hours. Plus with the new perk trees I'll start a whole new character to use them
