Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Oh man I can explore for hours on end in this game. Sometimes I'll just go out on ingredient finding missions and not stop until I have 200 lbs worth which takes a long time to get.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Do you guys prefer Morrowind, Cyrodiil from Oblvion or Skyrim in general from an exploration standpoint. I personally find Cyrodiil more interesting than Skyrim.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Imo Skyrim > Morrowind > Oblivion as far as exploring the world goes. Skyrim's great graphics add to the whole atmposphere. Morrowind was very fun to roam too, and even though I love Oblivion, thinking back on it now I realise it actually was a pretty empty world.
You had like the big towns at set places like Bruma, but from what I can remember there were hardly any small setlements and only caves/bounty hunter hideouts besides the big towns..

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I love just traveling and discovering new places. Was one of my fav things when I played fallout 3 and new Vegas. Used to travel with.companions but they just slow me down. Whats the best cave you.guys have been in if you remember. I went into a cave recently and it was awesome. With over 300 hours playing skyrim I never saw or been in this cave. There was like this.mountain or huge hill you.could go up to. The whole place was filled with Spiggons (spelling) was alittle tough at first, you know how they can take over dragons, wolves bears and other things. I summoned my badass buddy Dremora and it freaking took over him and he was attacking me lol. The cave was just huge and beautiful

I think I was in that very cave system last night retrieving the Blade Shards for Silus. Once you are inside you can look up and see the sky and stuff.. it's a pretty cool, "cave" system for sure. Alot of bears in there too.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

The corre is right it's Skyrim>Morrowind>Oblivion although to be fair shivering island was to fun to explore. Oblivion was just boring to explore (and i love the game) most of the caves were visually the same, and if you saw one plane of oblivion you saw them all. Morrowind was fun to explore but those F'ing cliff racers!!!!! Skyrim as you all know is amazing I love going to a cave and see a story play out. A couple days ago I went to a cave where all the journal enterys were about necrophilia, and you finally get to the end to fight the boss and he has a bunch of women ghost servants. However, Bethseda best job was in FO3. I don't know if it's because a lot of the places you explore are based in reality or just a perfect atmosphere, but I have never seen exploring that well done.

I stand to.this day that Fallout 3 is the best game ive ever played. It always had me thinking and the stories were amazing. Whether its 2 skeletons hugging eachother or holotapes with something great. Would love to play it again but I would I would never wanna go to work or school again. Always love telling the story bout how I was on the fence on what to get. Fable 2 or Fallout 3 lol. The employee convinced me by saying theres cannablism and I kill about anyone I want.

Just put in skyrim and just creafed my greatsword Ice. Now I am officially Ned Stark.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I did a little Victarion Greyjoy style fighting with my Daedric sword and dragon shield. No stealth at all just begged bitches to come get some...and they did, and they died.

The only thing I don't like about Fallout is the combat system, it's a total turnoff for me. Otherwise it looks like such a fun game.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Its not really any different than Skyrim's other than instead of Magic you get VATS. I don't get that.
