Yeah, I forced my illusion up pretty quick to 70 just to get that invisibility spell.

Finished the Companions questline. Short as hell. The Fighters Guild in Oblivion was a lot more fun.

I enjoyed the Companions storyline. I'm going to do it again now that I'm a badass ninja assassin. It is short though *that's what she said*...

That wound is still open Croft and it cuts deep!

I've been playing Kingdoms of Amulur: Reckoning the last 2 weeks and while its a sort of "dumbed down" or streamlined version of Skyrim its just as fun. Pleasantly surprised here.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I would say the Brotherhood questline is the best especially the ending. Played through it twice so far and always loved the ending, i wanna so bad to the destroy the brotherhood quest but it just doesnt feel worth it. You get so much gold and stuff for completing it. Thieves is next then Companions.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Yeah the Brotherhood arc is my favorite as well. I'll complete the thieves guild this time.. I didn't wanna give up my unbreakable pick my first playthrough so it never got completed.

I do love the Nightingale portion of the Thieves Guild storyline.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

How is the mage guild this time around? I Haven't even started it yet on any playthrough. Although, to be fair I have put at least 100 hours and I have yet to get past high horthgar in the MQ, and the only guild quest I have beaten is the companions which as you guys said was way too short.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I haven't gotten into that yet, kaz. I did join it so I could go find the guy that sells the invisibility spell...but I will do that arc and finish it this time.

This is basically what I do in the game now... *I have different gear than this guy though. His outfit is modded and I don't use mods...but it's still basically the same style of killing I use now*

I also like to use calm and frenzy and I like to play around with the throw voice shout.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I had no idea illusion was that powerful. My last playthrough I went assassin type and I found it too easy. I stumbled across a sleeping dragon at a shrine once and one shotted it. At that point dungeons became trivial and I lost interest. I am curios to know how magic users are. I have never played a full caster in morrowind, oblivion, or skyrim, but they appear really fun.

Yeah Illusion magic is pretty fun if you really give it a chance.
