Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
Just started playing again yesterday and was enjoying it...until dragons started appearing every 5 minutes, always as I started/attempted a quest. I don't remember there being that many damn dragons, then I got the dragonrend shout and it does jack shit so I haven't played it again.

All the Dragonend shout does is ground the Dragons so they stop flying about. It helps you to get a clear shot with your bow, or hit with your melee weapons, whilst they are stuck on the ground, unable to fly. It doesn't do any damage, but I found it to be a very useful shout.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
If you get the Dragonblade at Sky Haven during Alduin's Wall quest Dragon's should be easy to kill.
Since I've been focusing on conjuring alot I barely have to fight. I just either conjure a Dremora or Storm Atronach and stand back and unload arrows. Reading online it said the arrows of the conjure bow are actually Daedric arrows so if your a good archer it should be pretty powerful.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
Dragons are fairly easy for me to kill at any level with a bow and some healing potions because I know how to make kickass combat potions to use as well.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
The best way to kill a Dragon, especially when it attacks a town, is to let other people do it for you. Then come in when it's almost dead, hit it with a few arrows and take the soul...

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
I have a Daedric Mace at about 180 Damage and Dragons really only take about 4 hits to be killed, no magic no shouts needed

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
Bought a gaming comp earlier this year and saw it on steam half off, so I decided to replay Skyrim a few days ago. Wow, I forgot how amazing this game is, especially with mods. Does anybody know much about Dawnguard? It looks really cool so far and I am hoping its great.

The other day i spent like an hour gathering and buying ingredients creating potions and making food lol. i was walking home after work 2 days ago and saw a flower that looked like Dragon Tongue from Skyrim and my first thought was to pick it for potions

Sorry to jump in but there are Regen heatlh potions that are valued over 3000 gold, and each time you make one you get about 20-30% increase in skill, so you can raise your skill really quickly, I off hand do not know 3 ingerdients, am at work, but that dude will raise you up real quick

That's what I was complaining about, Dragonrend not doing that, don't know if I'm shouting at a bad time or something but those dragons do not land.
They are easy enough for me to kill, it's just I'll get one near death and they'll find something more interesting to do and fly away, then fly back in just as I'm about to talk to someone or do something and screw everything up.
