Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I remember seeing something about they were going to add in the option to build your own house in the wilderness but it was just a concept idea.

Tried to play again today and the second I jumped into water it froze again. Now i'm really mad.

never heard of a place like that. i always thought deeds would be useless ever since i got the one for the Goldenglow Estate yet that isnt my house. would be cool to find a house out there and fix it up. Just hoping that in the DLC they put in what they shows in the Jam session thing they had, where you can build your own houses and have butlers.

For some reason i think i would love this game a ton more if i could have children and build houses lol. Kinda adding a Fable vibe to it.

if your playing on PS3 i had the same issue. I think you had to delete your Game Data Utility for Skyrim and download the update again. That first happened to me when i jumped off a bridge into the water and it froze and kept freezing when i went in water. couldnt finish the Dark Brotherhood quest cuz of it. Looks great now, water isnt clear as it was before.

Did anyone else experience the gitch where you enter the house that had a spirit causing trouble?

Evertime I tried that quest I got stuck in the house unable to get out and even if I did the same music and sound effects from the house follow you throughout the rest of the gamne.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

The only glitch I've found other than dead dragon bones dancing on occasion (the first time that happened it scared the fuck out of me) is for whatever reason I can't finish the skooma mission which is preventing me from buying a house in Riften and it's pissing me off. lol When I go to the mission it directs me to the little satchel where I grab that letter. Well I've done that already but it keeps directing me back to it. When I talk to the person I'm doing the mission for she acts like I did a great job and thanks me as if the mission is over.

Meh.

Also I'm liking the Daedric weapons but I prefer the Dragon armor because they have a light armor version whereas Daedric doesn't.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I was playing a while back and I randomly saw a Mammoth get lifted a 100 feet in the air and fall to the ground and die. Thought I was a biotic for a second.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

lol yeah I see little things like that as well McQueen. It's so funny when it happens! ha!

I once shot a Giant with my bow and it knocked him way up in the air and pinned him to a mountain lol. I couldn't even get the Giant's toe off of him. My bow, when I have my archery gear on is lethal but daaaaaaamn.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

Yeh games got glitchy physics.

I remember only just starting the game (probably like half hour in) and 3 deer just fell out the sky and landed in front of me.

It is common to hear of a peasant's dream of striving for knighthood as an
escape from hardship, but who would ever think it possible?

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

One constant glitch that can be funny is shooting a dead dragon with a fireball, if you have a clear path they will fly for miles, and if done in a twon (Dawnstar for example) the townfolk will chase the dead dragon to where it lands, always find it funny
