I didn't kill the blacksmiths. I hear Andre has a killer drop kick!
But yeah you'd be pretty much screwed on upgrading your weapon... but like I said I don't kill them until I'm ready to move on to Gwyn anyway. If you see Logan's story completely out you have to kill him and you get his outfit lol. If you kill him without seeing his story to the end you get his hat. And that hat is fucking cool.
Also now that you have beaten the four kings you can get Witch Beatrices outfit. It's out towards that undead dragon where the lightning drakes are.
Yeah I'll kill that dragon now that I have enough arrows. I bought 999 so I wouldnt run out, I dont usually wear and different outfits but the Paladin outfit I got where I killed Nito looks pretty cool. Now that I saved Solaire I should probably kill Quelaags sis right? To strengthen my Estus Flask.
Nope ive never seen his story though. My first playthrough I didnt see anyones story but hopefully this time I can see a couple but OnionBro most likely not. I didnt look for him at Sen's Fortess but I assume since I changed the rolling stone's direction he got out so I did see him in Anor Londo but during my Bed of Chaos run I didnt look for him. If I can go back and save him I might since I'll have time to kill before Gwyn if not then meh. His story is interesting especially after the lore video but I cared about others more.
As of right now I'd only want a slab so I could get the achievement for making the strongest lightning, fire, enchanted, magic, crystal, raw or divine weapon. Im fine with my fully upgraded Uchi right now. I remember it being impossible for me to kill Drakes last tjme with my Black Knights Sword but im killing them so much easier now.
I don't see how y'all do anything with big slow weapons lol
But for OnionBro you would have to go find him in Blighttown first... then go to Dukes Archives and save his daughter which is trapped in a golden crystal gollum.. it's right there on the outside where all the blue crystal gollums are. Then you would go back to firelink shrine and talk to her there. Then go to where bed of chaos is and save onionbro again then go back to firelink and talk to his daughter again then finish it up by finding them down in Ash Lake.
Big slow weapons take care of things faster than some light fast weapons. I miss using my BKS and BKH but im enjoying using the Uchi and Iaito since ive always loved Katanas in just about anything. You better try that Havel the Rock playthrough so then I can see you say how awesome big slow weapons are
I tried on Paladin Leeroys gear and it looks cool but man I didnt miss rolling with heavy gear at all. Wish Dark Souls had the Steed Stone so I could wear heavy armor and move around like I was in light gear.
I did save OnionBros daughter last time but when I got back to Firelink he wasnt there and I didnt wanna go looking.
Well now you know... It's a long task though lol so it's not really worth doing unless you wanna see it play through or get the slab. You can actually let him die there at the end in Lost Izalyth... which is what he wants you to do since you've saved him so much. I'm not sure what happens with his daughter after that. I may do that this time just to see.
Also before they patched it you could wear that heavy armor if you have the ninja flip (Dark Woodgrain) ring. Do you even bother getting that ring, Soup?
I have no idea what that ring is lol. Im still a Rookie when it comes to Dark Souls even after beating the game. I did see video of this guy flipping wondering why I coukdnt do that even when im a light character.
Im gonna get the ring of fog next time I play since I have 2 Skull Lanterns. I wish I found this list of things you could get from snuggly. Imagine all the Twinkling Titanite I could have gotten just trading Moss which I could have easily aquired.. Plus it seems its possible to be able to wear to FaP rings since you could trade that god awful Xanthous crown for one.
Just save Sunbro dont u wanna witness the Father vs Son mainevent lol. Its so easy getting rank 2 as a chaos member. Im sure you know the spot to farm for humanity. I'll save OnionBro next time or if I still can in my current one then I will since I wanna visit Ash Lake anyways.
The only way I know of to get the Darkwood grain ring is to kill Shiva's BG.
There's a cool trick in doing it. Run to the forest and join their covenant. Shiva is just outside the room with the cat... his bodyguard is behind him and invisible... he's wearing a ring of fog or something. You can simply give him a couple of kicks which knocks him off a cliff and kills him. Quit the game and reload and his pick up is right there. Of course that pisses everyone in the forest off at you so you can homeward bone out.
Or you can join that covenant and talk to Shiva. After you talk to him he goes down to the bottome of blighttown. You can then go down there and buy things off of him like the uchigatana, washing pole and stuff like that. His BG is with him there as well. Just kill them both and get the ring.
