It would be awesome if the theories many have about Solaire were true. Would make that final battle between Gwyn that more epic, hell maybe him being the summon for such a huge battle is kinda telling us Solaire is indeed somewhat connected to the Lord of Cinder.
Before I played today I was at 26 hours, if I wanted to.I could beat it later. Im amazed how I went to beating it in 67 hours to possibly less than half the time. Maybe I'll be able to catch up to Croft in playthroughs once I aquire all the main souls I'll probably wander alot though. ive still never been to Ash Lake yet in either playthrough.
I always wait until I can warp before I go to Ash Lake.
I think the theory that Solaire is Gwyn's first born is true. Of course there's no real way of knowing but from what other people have put together it not only sounds possible but plausible. PRAISE THE SUN!
Holy hell how do y'all play with slow weapons? lol I may do a playthrough with a strength build and do a Havel playthrough. How awesome would that be?
I also like Havel's lore and the speculation that he betrayed Gwyn because Gwyn rewarded Seth the Scaleless instead of him. That's why his gear can be found in Anor Londo along with a weapon that can kill gods *occult club*.
Well I enjoyed my heavy weapon and armor playthrough, it was much easier than my current playthrough for sure. I could take hits and killed bosses easily with my Black Knights Sword and Black Knight Halberd. doing a Havel playthrough would be fucking awesome though, I would live to see what the Dragon Tooth would do to enemies and bosses but playthrough might be 100 hours due to.moving like molasses lol.
Solaire being the first born would make me mark for him even more than I do now. Hopefully somehow in 2 they can find out who you saved so theyd be in the sequel.
Gonna have to order my shirt soon and start coming up with ideas for my Praise the Sun sign for mania. Wonder how many ppl will get it there.
Not many will get it but that's what makes it so fucking awesome. If your sign gets shown on TV and a Dark Souls fan sees it they will be marking out X a billion. I'll stand up and do the PRAISE THE SUN gesture and chant your name Soup.
Hopefully it doesnt get confiscated. You think Praising the Sun is PG?
Earlier I was farming for slabs again, had 7 bones.so commited myself to just seven trips. All I got were the usual Chunks and Dark Hands. I did kill a few Drakes and almost killed that toxic old geezer Dragon but ran out of arrows and spells so left. I think im just gonna have to deal with a plus 14 Uchigatana and a plus 4 Lightning Iaito for now. I did turn a weapon raw so now I got Raw Richards Rapier which is pretty powerful atm.
Go beat the Stray Demon in the Asylum, Soup. He's easy, especially with Great Magic Weapon. I did it with my dagger lol. Just stay behind him and move backwards when he does the AOE attack and you're fine.
btw the Crest shield is great here because of it's magic defense. The AOE is a magic attack so it helps alot. But if you're behind him and back up you don't even need to block it. Your Uchigatana is a fast weapon with bleed damage and the demon will bleed every third or fourth hit. he goes down fairly quickly with such a great, fast weapon like you have.
Spoiler for Somethin' Bad:
