yeah they are. if you have hidden body or the ring of fog it helps. If you can parry then you have it made. Just run up to the guy on the right, parry him and knock a bitch off the ledge.
If not you can use poison arrows from a distance. there's a spot where their arrows can't reach you but yours can reach them. Poison them and watch 'em die. You can fix dinner while it's happening because it takes a while.
And that lightning spear. You can go to a blacksmith and downgrade it. If you downgrade it it'll become a +10 spear.

Was thinking about shooting them with arrows. I've just been running at them hoping to get lucky.
I've downgraded the spear, now I just need to upgrade it to the Butterfly Horn. My Crystal Halberd is doing just fine at the moment though. Taking out those Giant Knights with a few hits.
The first time I went through Anor Londo I almost made it on my first go, but stupidly I locked on to one of those Black Knights and fell off... Took me a few goes to actually get past them. Even more annoying I didn't even use the Bonfire at the beginning so I would always have to get through Sen's Fortress. That didn't help.
And I used the Dragon shortcut in the Painted World. Wish I didn't now as I wanted the Ember from that particular world.
