Demon's Souls looks good. The whole world tendency thing seems a bit confusing.
It... is if I'm being honest. Seems rather complex getting everything. Certain NPCs will only appear in Pure Black/White tendency and some who are already there will turn in to a Black Phantom or give you something depending on your tendency. It's a shame because there's some NPCs and stuff I didn't even get to see as I played offline. I'm not even sure what Character Tendency does...
Agreed. I love the color scheme used for the game. Sometimes it's almost as if it's black and white...of course it's not but it's just... weird. And that's a great thing, btw. I love the look. Some of the bosses are awesome as well.

Probably my favourite boss fight in the series. Truly felt bad getting this soul. I read a really good article about this fight not long ago basically saying FROM should try things like this more.
This daggers only playthrough is tough as fuck lol. I'm just trying to bide my time until I get Priscilla's dagger.
The good thing about daggers is the bleed effect, btw. With the thieves dagger on the bleed effect stroke it does 30 percent of the opponents health. But when I get Priscilla's dagger it will do 50 percent of the health which is massive in a boss fight.

The highest I can seem to go is +6 before it wants me to ascend the weapon to something else. I'm trying to get a +10 spear so I can use the Moonlight Butterfly Soul to get a Moonlight Butterfly Horn.

You need the Large Ember from the Depths next to the first butcher and give it to Andre of Astora. This should let you ascend to +6. It's the only thing I actually bothered getting from the Depths at that point. Not sure but don't think you can ascend the spear until the giant blacksmith.

Did you get the Lightning Spear in Sens out of the Mimic chest? If so you can downgrade that to a plus 10 spear.
If not just do what Kun said. The Large Ember is in the chest guarded by a Butcher in the Depths.
