Maybe I'm thinking of another jump.. lol I'll either confirm that or correct myself the next time I'm playing.
No, you were right. Were the merchant is, there is a pathway thats quite easy to miss, walk around then climb a ladder onto the roof directly above where the picture is and do a running jump to the platform.
Booya thanks for the video earlier Croft. Killed the Hydra which was easier than in my first playthrough. Didnt know the Crest Shield was so useful. then met Dusk and bought Hidden Body, but had to farm to get an attunement slot. Got to Catacombs had to do some fighting alittle bit but I killed Pinwheel. Paladin Leeroy is powerful as hell, he did most of the damage.
I went nowhere near Tomb of Giants. Once I did what I set on doing I went back to Firelink. I thought you got the skull from defeating a Necromancer in the Catacombs. How useful is the Ring of Fog, now that I got the ring of FaP I just see myself using Havels ring or the Wolf Ring mostly.
Oh and is there any difference between any of the Catalysts at all. I bought one from Dusk, got one for saving the Sorcerer and I I'll get the Tin one later. right now I have 2 attunement spots and thinking of carrting 2 so I could possibly perform Magic Shield and Magic Weapon.
*been watching Dark Souls Lore much of the night. Crossbreed Priscilla is a very interesting character and man Rhea's questline is so sad
I remember when I first started Dark Souls I chose the Pendant for some reasom started a new game as soon as LC Tole me Master Key is def the way to go
That catalyst you bought of of Dusk is the best one to use until you're intelligence is past 25. It's the Ooclycile catalyst or something like that. I'm not sure about the rest.
If you're going to use the FAP ring then don't worry about the ring of fog. You can just get the spell that makes you invisible whenever you want... Hidden Body I think is the name. It's the same but only last for 30 seconds. The aggro range is actually better with Hidden Body.
If you're going to stay light armor which means no poise then get the Wolf ring because it gives you 40 points of poise and that helps alot if you have none. If you have no poise anything that hits you will stun lock you... 40 points of poise prevents that up to a certain extent.
And you can indeed get a skull lantern from a Necromancer... if you kill them all you'll get one no matter what. But you will get one in the spot that Patches kicks you off the ledge in the Tomb of Gods. Cast light helps there or the sunlight maggot.
Maybe I can't see through walls but I can kick your ass.
