Yep, that's how I did it the first two times lol. I don't care to be cheap. I also killed Ceaseless Discharge the cheap way the first time... I'll cheap my way by him again this time as well. I did a legit kill on my second try and not having any armor or poise it's risky. But if you're a tank there shouldn't be a problem.

Is that when you run back to the fog gate and he hangs on for his life, then all you have to do is hit his arm a few times and he'll fall? If so, I did it that way as well. If there's always an easy way to kill a boss I'll take it...
Man I hate waking up, turning the game on only to see I have zero souls and have no clue where I died last so retrieving the souls is almost impossible.
you do that for Dark Souls too. First time I played I pressed start and thought it was paused and I got killed.
One thing that really annoyed me about the game was at the archives. The skeleton's arrows were curving like they were in Wanted. I stood behind a pillar when it shot and then moved and arrows kept hitting me.

lol yeah I noticed that too. That's the times where the ring of fog or the invisibility spell comes in handy. It's easy to get the drop on a bitch if they can't see you
Well I didnt have have the ring or the spell during my playthrough. I was a walking tank, would just run at them with my shield up. Next time I'll play as a light character.
Was Patches one of those characters that show up at Firelink. Im kinda excited for my next playthrough since I pretty much know what to do. Except where that merchant that trades stuff with you is at. The person that gives you the ring of Fog and other things.

Just read read my new GameInformer tosay and they had a list of the top 10 Dragons and they had the Hellkite Dragon as #7. They also talked alittle bout Dark Souls 2 and said its gonna be just as difficult, have a larger world new protagonist. Sounds like a game I'll play a year after its out lol. I would love to have seen the very first person playing Dark Souls. I beat it at 67 hours with help imagine if I had none.
