NG+ doesn't do alot for me. I like developing my character and building my weapons and gear so I just start a brand new game. I'm on my third playthrough. I'm going tanky this time with a strength build.
3rd playthrough wow, you should try the online component. It adds alot to it. Before I killed Sif I got the achievement for discovering the Hunters covenant and after looking them up they are interesting as hell. If I joined them whenever someone was in the forest that wasnt a member of the covenant Alvina woukd summon me to the forest to kill them. Imagine being summoned randomly to kill a player in the forest.
Im gonna go light next time I play. I was a Tank the whole time but when I did go light, back stabbing was so easy. Hopefully I'll get a good sword. This playthrough even with.my Uchigatana at +10 I still used my BKS mainly because id rather do tons of damage with 1 or 2 swings than swinging 5 to do decent and my endurance wasnt high too.
Played a little bit of this after work and took out a couple of the Lord bosses. Seath and the Four Kings. Was so close in taking out the Four Kings at one point, but forgot to notice my health running low thanks to Power Within, so I died. n00b! Still, got past them without them ganging up on me.
Seath wasn't as annoying as I'd heard, was pretty simple actually. The only time I died was thanks to the fucking Oyster-thingys walking in on the fight, tried to dodge one and the fucker got me. Also glad the Crystal Cave wasn't that hard to get through. Thanks for putting the hints on the invisible walkway.
Now I've opened the door to the Kiln of the First Flame. Took a few of the Knights out, may have been farming a little bit. But I'll probably fight Gwyn when I wake up tomorrow. Should be a fun fight!
Probably. I like it simply because it looks pretty lol. Personally, the New Londo Ruins is my favorite, mostly because of the atmosphere. Almost pissed myself the first time I went there though (it was early in the game. I didn't know what I was doing. The ghosts freaked me out. I didn't end up to happy...).
Yeah New Anor Londo was great. Before playing the game I heard about an area with unhittable ghosts and was scared but.I enjoyed the area alot.
I really enjoyed Darkroot Garden, mainly the area after opening the magically sealed door. Facing the Forest Dwellers was great, one was almost invisible and surprised me and I literally jumped when some huge thing ran across my screen. 3 huge Alice in Wonderland Catlike creatures that almost killed me.
