About saving Solaire.

Step 1: Join Spiderboobs Covenant
Step 2: Get 30 humanity
Step 3: Die
Step 4: Die again ASAP
Step 5: Hahaha, you need to get 30 more humanity.
Step 6: Give up 30 humanity to Spiderboobs
Step 7: Open gate
Step 8: DO NOT PASS THE GATE.
Step 9: From as far away as possible, while still not crossing over into the new area, snipe as many maggots with your bow as you can
Step 10: STILL DO NOT CROSS
Step 11: If you're sure everyone is dead, play the level like you didn't open the gate.
Step 12: When you arrive from the other side of the gate, Solaire is still alive!
Step 13: Fistbump your Sunbro.

Edit: It's very picky about how far you advance. If you cross into the area no matter what you do, Solaire dies.

ahhhh okay, yeah I wont be doing that any time soon. lol Gwyn is easy enough all by me lonesome because I can parry like a BOSS so I don't need the help and I'm certainly not going through all of that.

Soup, get that Sunlight Maggot though... or the cast light spell. It'll make getting to Nito a hell of a lot easier.

kinda wish I could have prevented what happened though. Maybe whenever I do my Ned Stark playthrough. I just killed Sif who was pretty easy so thats another boss killed. Think ive killed like 5 today, Demon Ruins had one in like every corner though lol.

I killed the merchant for the Uchigatana because I only needed him for arrows so he was expendable. I have the Large Flame Ember and Andre isnt taking it so give it to the Giant Blacksmith? when I was at the Lord Vessell there was an option to feed it souls but when I offered some it said I didnt have any.

* just turned my Uchigatana into a Chaos blade with the Soul of Quelaag and I already have it plus 5. Does poison and toxin damage. Wonder if I found a better weapon thst my BKS

You can only feed it souls when you have the four it wants. Nito, 4 Kings and so on. Once you do that a fog opens up behind the lord vessel which leads you to the final boss, Gwyn.

The Fire Ember goes to the blacksmith in the Catacombs. He'll be able to make fire weapons for you. Coolest looking blacksmith EVER!

Just beat the 4 Kings on my first try. They werent hard at all lol, you made it seem like youd need a super strong armor to just survive LC. Ive been playing with the Black Iron set for a while all plus 1. Before playing the game I was scared hearing bout ghosts you cant hit but the whole area wasnt that hard. No bonfire was always in the back of my mind.

I love how shorcuts are keep being found. Valley of Drakes is right there. So now I just need 2 more souls.

4 Kings were nerfed when Iron Flesh was nerfed.
