to expand on what Seph said without spoilers. You'll see the boss fog on the left.. .go downstairs and to the right. You'll see a Titanite Demon. Beat him or go paste him to do what Seph is talking about. Once you defeat a certain enemy and then the little crawling thing you can get the Sunlight Maggot which you can put on your head and that gives you light which helps you with the Tomb of the Giants.
it's really useful. My first playthrough I used Cast Light but this is much better because it doesn't run out.
Spoiler for The coin that gave birth to the Dark Stark... VALAR MORGHULIS:
Just my luck last night. I farm for humanity and end up with 12 which is good, and I head to get the helmet Seph was talking about. I beat Ceaseless Discharge then go to the bonfire and use it and next minute all the power goes off on my street lol. even this morning it was off so now im at work hoping somehow it was saved and I dont have to do it again.
After fighting Ostrich and Smough, it's good to know how basic they are. Smough is weak against lightning attacks btw, so....that would be the call for someone close to that part of the game. Haven't beaten them yet, but I've killed Smough plenty while taking down most of Ostrich's health, It sucks switching between the lightning spear and a none lightning weapon while fighting them simultaneously though.
Give me a list of what you have done so far. Pinwheel is the easiest boss I reckon. Well you can cheese one other boss but I don't think you have met him yet.
You can now kindle your bonfires so you have 20 estus flasks. I usually kill Pinwheel within the first hour of my playthrough now to get that perk. If you don't rest at any bonfires like you did here you can just bone back out to the last bonfire you rested at and bingo... kindle a bitch.
