I love killing that stupid dog. I don't get why everyone always says that it is sad. I mean there is a big ass fucking wolf with a big ass fucking sword attacking you with out any good reason.
Adding the limp almost made me cry lol I had her almost dead and noticed she was moving weird then I looked closer and saw she was limping and barely holding on. It was sad indeed.
I'm ready to kill Gwyn now but I haven't explored the Painted Room so I wanna do that before I end this journey one way or the other... then new game plus begins

Yeah I beat the Hydra by Havel... I haven't beat the one in Ash Lake yet. I went down there though. I saw that Hydra and left lol. It was too early in the game for me to try that.
And the secret stuff in New Londo are you talking about the illusion? I haven't done that yet. I think once I turn New Londo dark I can no longer use those giants at the beginning of New Londo for farming lol. I can get 9 thousand souls from those 6 guards... I think I'll do that when I'm ready to beat Gwyn though. Still haven't decided if I'm going the Dark Lord path or the Fire path on my ending. Which did you choose?
I'm not sure I'm going through with the Big Hat Logan scenario. I read that you have to buy all of his magic and I simply don't wanna waste that many souls on it. I may do that in new game plus. I did see what happened to Solaire though. That was sad.
Also I need to buy the DLC... if I can do that. It shouldn't cost very much since the game, brand new cost me like 18 bucks lol so surely the DLC isn't over 10 bucks or so.

I think its $10-15, but the campaign is a good 5-8 hours I believe.
As for the secret covenant in Anor Londo, you get a ring in the catacombs, put it on and a secret passage opens up. A voice tells you to join the covenant and not go in the door. If you go in the door...well, I won't spoil the story. It actually is really cool and adds a lot to the lore. It explains why the Boob Covenant leader is as big as a dragon and why Anor Londo goes "dark".
Edit: You know the platform that you push a lever and it goes up or down? A gargoyle guards it? Well, take it all the way to the bottom.
As for Ash Lake, you can avoid the hydra and it is worth going to the end of the level. Really really cool. As for souls, there is a secret way to get 10,000+ every 2-3 minutes in the area before Sif by the bonfire. You buy a key for a door from the blacksmith by Sen's and it opens a giant door.

Okay I'll go to the end of Ash Lake and check it out. So I don't have to kill that Hydra? Well I don't think I'd have much problem with the Hydra as powerful as I am right now though so I may just kill it for the souls.
I bought that key for 20 K souls so I could go in and get the wood grain ring. Are you talking about those guardians that respawn? Those are fun to fight even as powerful as I am now. Not sure I could beat them that quick though lol.
I know where that bonfire is at the bottom of Anor Londo is that what you're talking about?

Yeah, the bonfire holds the secret. You need to equip a certain ring...let me wiki it...
...
...
Darkmoon Seance Ring. You'll get an easy 40,000 souls. Be sure to join the covenant tho for the achievement!
The boss can be kind of hard. So make sure not to have too many souls just in case. If not, you get 40,000 when you beat him so oh well! I believe he talks to you during the fight and clues you in on the lore surrounding...him. If not, I'll clue you in on it. Its kind of cool to know before fighting the final boss.
As for the guardians of the forest. Make a mad dash to near the cat, run back to the door, but hide underneath the ledge by the door as close to the cliff as possible. Its actually fucking hilarious what happens. They will throw themselves off the cliff.
Go back to bonfire, they respawn, go back to work
Edit: BTW! Before you are 100% sure you are going to fight the final boss. Kill all firekeepers that you can (the one in Anor Londo, Quelaag's place where the secret covenant is) to get their souls to boost your estus flasks.
