It's official, Solaire it the Tic-Tac-Toe master

Did everyone assume Pinwheel was just gonna be a gigantic bonewheel skeleton? Or was that only me when I first played the game and heard of this boss.

But just keeping really close to one with make the others stay away, I believe... Then when you see them attacking just roll away. It did take some tries, though.
I had to use a crest shield to not take a billion damage from that shitty ass magic homing thing. Worst thing ever when I finally get an open to attack one of the kings and the different one shoots at my back.

Yeah. I saw it and went ''wait what the fuck that isn't a pinwheel at all''. Hell even now I always still call the bonewheel skeletons ''pinwheels'' and the bonewheel shield the ''pinwheel shield''. One single skeleton is actually harder than the pinwheel anyway so they should take it's name. I've even died trying to kill those little lizards and in both NG/NG+ combined I think the Catacombs boss has taken nine hits altogether. That thing is so lame it doesn't even deserve a proper title.

That thing has an intersting backstory, have you watched the Lore on Pinwheel?

But yeah, the fight is so easy. You'd have to be a complete jobber to die to that boss. It is even easier when you have the great Paladin Leeroy with you. No wonder so many people can run through the Catacombs and beat him for the Rite of Kindling early in the game.

Re: Dark Souls - October 4th, 2011

In a shield-only speed run I watched the dude did the pinwheel thingyyyy at soul level 6 before ringing either bell and Leeroy was wasting time attacking the illusions before killing he thingyyyy in three hits.

Haven't watched any of the lore videos or read up much about the story of the game in general. Most of what I know came from the item descriptions in the loading screens.

I'm reminded every day of this 'achievement'... Thanks, Soup!

Yes...

Is there a way to erase rep, or just block it from existence?
