Re: Dark Souls - October 4th, 2011

yeah... Anyway, there is a ring that raises your item drop possibility. Also put at least one humanity in your ticker there... meaning use one, that raises your item drop possibility and makes farming easier as well. It can go up to 10 with the humanity but the first one you use is the most important as it gives you the most return on the investment.

I thought there were frogs down in the Depths... Isn't that where you farm Eyes of Death from? Or are they completely different enemies who just look like frogs...?

Also you can farm humanity from the frogs in the Depths *or anywhere else you can find them.
Huzzah now I'll have you and SOUP!
I did that once. I know those things are a breeding ground for humanity. (hehe frogs) Does the drop rate stay consistent?

@Illusive: You're talking about the basilisks. They are rather frog/lizard-like now that I think about it.
I think they just drop eyes of death, though.

Re: Dark Souls - October 4th, 2011

Yeah, totally different name for them. Actual frogs can be found in the forest area.

Still, the Depths are a great way to farm both Eyes of Death and Humanity, with a high drop rate you can get almost 30 within an hour. Probably less. Doesn't take very long.

I just...don't want to leave my spot in the tomb of giants. Don't want to start over from the catacombs.
I am the lazybutts.

Re: Dark Souls - October 4th, 2011

Haven't you sat at the bonfire at ToG though? You wouldn't start at the catacombs at all. Nito fight is easy, you don't even have to worry about the skeletons. Last time I fought Nito I was in the bandit thief set and had no shield and I still tanked his hits and killed him without a problem. His AoE attacks drop the skeletons so just block or dodge that one.

Paladin Leeroy though one of my favorites

Oh I never did check to see if the bonfire was warpable. Silly me. Yeah, I've been to both bonfires. Currently at the second one.
