The Drake Sword has been a godsend. Level 15ish right now still in the Undead Burgs. Bought to leave the area...not sure where to head to next.

I love it. The sense of discovery and adventure. Everything wants you dead, there is no hand holding. It doesn't even tell you where to go. After the tutorial level, you're just dropped off in an open world and pretty much left on your own. The best way is obviously up the stairs to the Undead Burg because every other place has harder enemies.

Kinda want to get this game, but in between not even playing Deus Ex yet, Skyrim & Uncharted right around the corner, needing to beat Mass Effect 1 & KotOR on PC and having an unforgiving difficulty i'm just not sure.

I can breeze through KotOR in 10 hours. I am so boss at that game. I've beaten if half a dozen times tho.

You should definitely buy Dark Souls. I've only been playing for a day and I like it a lot more than Deus Ex. Deus Ex is a 9, this is an 11.

Ass Invader, what class are you playing as and what stats are you increasing?

I'm playing as a Warrior and I'm focusing on Vit, End, Str, and Dex. I was putting some souls into Resistence, but I've been hearing its kind of a useless stat since it doesn't really reflect what it says it increases. I'm researching it before dumping more into it.

I'll probably end up getting it, just might be a while. Or I may go buy it tommorow since I need to go job hunting anyways so who knows.

I'm still iffy on this game. I almost rented it when I rented Rage today but put it down. After I'm done with Arkham City I think I'll give this a whirl and just suffer until I learn.

In two minds over this, hate games where you feel 'lonely' but it does look good

You're not alone. The whole world wants you dead. We're in this together.

There is a huge and excellent community for this game already. There are tons of hints written for you telling you what to do or warning you about dangers. You can see ghosts of other players playing the same area. Also, you can look at bloodstains that activate someone's last moments before dying.

And then there is the co-op. You can summon or be summoned to someone's game and help each other out. When things get very hard, it's the only option.

(There are also invasions, but it's been less common than in Demon's Souls and you can easily avoid them...unless you want to be the betrayer)
