Got 20 dex and my Iaito is +2 Lightning. It's okay I guess. I haven't played around with it much. I dunno I really like having a long attack range. Will try the boss fight again tonight after work. =/

Was just in the Painted World of Ariamis. Would have enjoyed it more if I expected it to be the way it was. I thought I'd be in and out in about 5 minutes with some loot. Instead I'm being attacked by these dreaded wheel-skeletons I've heard so much about. About 40 mins in the 4th time I had died and left a bloodstain of 60000 souls I checked online and found the quickest way out.

Just beat Ornstein and Smough on around my 5-6th attempt (3rd with Solaire) and Solaire basically won the fight for me. He was the one who killed Ornstein while I was getting my ass handed to be my Smough and he distracted Smough before he killed me shortly before I delivered the final blow. Dunno why people complain about NPC summons.

Edit: GA did you by any chance find a Silv. Knight Straight Sword in Anor Londo? I'm currently using it +5 and it has 262 ATK with 16 strength and 22 dex requirements. I got the Iaito earlier and was sort of disappointed. I assume it gets better on the upgrade though. I'm currently switching between that and the Lightning Spear +4. Still have no idea which shield to use however.

I've been using the same hollow soldier shield since I first pillaged it from some hollow. I've upgraded it a few levels too, and it's still doing the trick.

I've attempted Ornstein and Smough about 20 times now. Damn @ you getting it in 6 attempts. I have no clue how to summon Sunbro. Seph said something about looking for a summoning sign on the ground? Oh wait. Just remembered I have to be human to see it right? Or wut?

I did not find that sword. I'm using the Eagle Shield in my O&S attempts. It has 100% damage reduction. Useing the Grass Crescent Shield when running around and shit.

Yeah you need to be human. The summon mark is on the stairs next to the Silver Knight archer in the hall. If you are summoning Solaire then I'd advise to clear out the room otherwise Solaire arrives a minute late with half his health gone. I also just found out there whichever one of them you kill last you can buy their armour later in the game. Great I'm gonna get Smough armour .


Getting the Silver Knight Sword and Shield is also a pretty decent way to get souls as they give about 1k per knight and there's 15 in close proximity at one point.
