Re: Dark Souls - October 4th, 2011

Closer and closer to finishing my final playthrough of Dark Souls. Beat Quelaag,Moonlight Butterfly and The Iron Golem minutes ago. Black Iron Tarkus is in my fave five lol. He basically beat the Golem on his own since my uchi wasnt doing much damage.
I went through Sen's Fortress without dying once, im so light I didnt even have to take all my armor off to run through the blades.

After ringing the 2nd bell Lautrec did indeed kill Anastaisa. Once I defeat Ornstein and Smough I'll avenge her. Thats the one thing I wanted to do since its pretty much the only thing I havent done in Dark Souls.

Spoiler for guess what:
Praise the Sun, I love this game.

Oh boy, I remember Lautrec killing the firekeeper on my first playthrough. Good times, good times.

Re: Dark Souls - October 4th, 2011

Reading you guys talk about 4 tries and bosses being hard really shows how much of a slow learner I am. I'm on my fourth save (first was a total noob save so I guess it's 3 real tries) and took 10+ tries on O+S there, even dying to big Smough three times.

I just seem to have brainfarts with certain moves. That big, slow move Smough does where he charges at you with his Hammer and then swings? The one that's supposedly one of the easiest in the game to dodge? 8 times out of 10 that hits me. Infact without that I'd probably be under 5 tries. Same with the Moonlight Butterfly. Supposedly super easy yet I always get hit. This is despite the fact my last 3 builds have all been built around dodging.

Re: Dark Souls - October 4th, 2011

Im not an expert like some ppl. I think I heard someone on here say they can beat Quelaag without being touched cuz its so.easy for them im terrible at dodging so light playhtroughs are tougher for me. 4Kings will be my toughest im sure.

I just beat Ornstein and Smough on my 2nd try. Was stupid my first time and died, but this time Solaire was a beast and was destroying Ornstein so it was my first time having Smough for last. On my first playthrough I used to have him for last but he always destroyed me so ever since then its always kill him first then kill Ornstein.

It looked like I got in my parrying groove again and it started with those fucking archers. I parried him and kicked him off the ledge, so after all this I invaded Lautrecs world and killed him and his bodyguards so Anastasia is now talking

And after all that I went to kill the firekeeper in Anor Londo then Quelaags sis. My next goal is get the rite of kindling but I plan on getting the Iaito and making it divine. Now that I can warp game will feel much more better.

If thats the caae youll have to delete a bunch of previous saves to start new characters right

I say its my final because I have done it all theres nothing left for me to accomplish (queue Goldberg music)

Re: Dark Souls - October 4th, 2011

Soupbro, you don't have all the achievements! You and I can farm for weapons.

Oh and I can beat Queelaag without being touched

Re: Dark Souls - October 4th, 2011

If I play NG+ with my previous character I could probably get the achievements. I have a white titanite slab and a good amount of numerous blue titanite chunks.

I wish I were pros like you, Quelaag is still tough at times for me. Even with 2 summons it took a while. My Uchigatana is deadly until I face bosses. Hopefully Greater Magic weapon will help me. I miss my lightning spears

Re: Dark Souls - October 4th, 2011

Quealaag is pretty easy if you go to her right and if you know her area of effect tell so you can get the hell out lol. Just stay close to her and to your left right at her head her swings go over your head and you can continue to hit her.
