I just wanna hear Anastasia talk lol, I always wondered why she couldn't talk. I will cheese it and also Manus whenever I get to that stuff. You could hit Manus with arrows before you enter the boss fog, which I should have known since I saw his red eyes down there in the dark.

Game is a piece of cake so far. Might go after the Bell Gargoyles before I stop.

Yup Booned, I beat the dlc with my last character. The Stone Guardians.in the forest were tough as hell, those were really the only enemies who caused me the most trouble. Those things in the townhall werent much, the ones that shot the black orbs were since even when blocking a shit ton of life was gone.

I defeated all the bosses except Kalameet because I sucked. The Artorias fight was awesome and so was saving Sif. Manus killed me a good amount of times before I finally figured him out. DLC was relatively short but still great since you arent supposed to beat it all at once.

Yea the Guardian things were a pain in the ass. Mainly because how unpredictable they are. Also the splash damage on its area attack

I finally get summoned to help someone with the Bell Gargoyles, they are almost dead and the summoner dies. I hate when that happens, the fights are so easy when you have 2 ppl summoned that you shouldn't die at all.

I couldn't use the Drake sword but just got the Uchigatana and have it +3.

How exactly was it confusing? Similar controls to DkS apart from no poise system and less weighty, and they actually give you more information story/world wise than Dark Souls does (they actually said afterwords they thought they told you too much in DeS which is why there's so little in DkS). You were in the Nexus which basically binds all demon hunters to the Kingdom of Boleteria so you can't leave and have to keep dying and coming back until you eventually go mad (or defeat the Old One). The reason you were hunting for Demon's Souls was explained in the very first intro. I just can't see how you could find Demon's confusing and not Dark which pretty much dumps you on a screen with 4 ways to go and even tries to trick you in to going the wrong way...

I get more trouble from the guardians than any other enemy in the game at this point. They're deceivingly fast and since I usually use a Dex Build I get flattened in one or two hits. Doesn't help they're EVERYWHERE.

I knew I shouldn't have came in to this thread. I have about 20 games to get through but I'm now getting the urge to play Dark Souls again...

I don't know how I found Dark Souls less confusing either, but it was much easier to get into commitment wise.

It is a better game. I finished Dark Souls before Demon's as well.

Edit: Tried to get back in to my Dex/Int save there. I have 18 Vitality and something like 24 Endurance and I'm in the middle of the DLC with I believe, Nito, 4K and BoC still to defeat. I think I decided to do the DLC first because the best magic is there. It would be ok if my Dex was decent but even that is pretty mediocre. No idea what I was doing really, think I had wanted to do the DLC to get the better magic first but meh. I'll probably wait til my friend get's it and start a Dex/Pyro save. Don't feel like farming shitloads of humanity and souls right off the bat.

Yeah I had 3 playthroughs done and felt like there's nothing else I could accomplish. But talking about it and this thread made me start a new playthrough. The game isn't even boring at all for me and I'm actually enjoying my current playthroughs atm.

And yeah those Stone Guardians were everywhere. At one point I had 2 coming at me and I knew that would be death so I had to run.

I killed the Black Knight at undead burg, gonna need to get in my parrying groove again since I sucked.

There's always something you can do Soup. I think my next project is to beat the game without using a shield. I can't rely on my damn good parrying skills so I'll be handicapped.

Actually I can still parry using the parrying dagger or my bare hand.
