Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

Still better than Vandal Hearts.

Ever pick up Suikoden 3?

As long as there's a Triforce, there will be a Zelda;
as long as there's a prosperous kingdom, there will be an evil bent on destroying it;
and as long as there's an oppressive force threatening Hyrule, there will be a boy...

in a green tunic, silver shield, and magic blade to stand against it.

You have Suikoden 2 and V?

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

Hiplop, play them already.

Suikoden 2=5>3>1>4

All of them except 4 are all 9/10 or higher.

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

They are 30-40 hours of RPG nirvana...except 4.

As long as there's a Triforce, there will be a Zelda;
as long as there's a prosperous kingdom, there will be an evil bent on destroying it;
and as long as there's an oppressive force threatening Hyrule, there will be a boy...

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

I went to that West St. Paul Gamestop and found Suikoden IV on the shelf but decided I probably shouldn't be buying any video games right now. Probably would have bought 3 if I found it (its supposedly there still but I stopped looking).

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

Should I just skip 4 when I eventually play them?

It should have been on the big display with all the PS2 games facing the entrance. Ask the guy next time. Or better yet!

PickUp@Store option. They will find it and hold it for you. Do it. Suikoden 3 is a gem and it's going for $40 or higher in used game stores not named Gamestop.

When you play through 1, 2 and 3, then we'll talk.

as long as there's a prosperous kingdom, there will be an evil bent on destroying it;
and as long as there's an oppressive force threatening Hyrule, there will be a boy...
