microsoft and sony just don't want my money I guess.
PS3: since I got a new one, I apparently have to deactivate my old PS3 (which is in a landfill somewhere) so I can make purchases on my new one. I called up sony and explained this to them of which they asked for the serial number of my old one. I told them I didn't have it and I wanted to set my credit card to my new one. I'm not allowed because I have to deactivate my old one first.
Xbox: I rented "Solaris", of which no option was given to download or stream, it just started to download (7.2 GB). on Xbox's support site it stated to cancel the download, find the film in my purchase history and I could stream it instead. only options were to buy it or delete what I had downloaded. so I got on a chat with them and went through all these steps, none worked, and they refunded my money and gave me a link to the same support page as before.

Just bought Max Payne 3 from Xbox Live Marketplace for 320 Microsoft points ($4.95) I'm pretty sure the price was glitched or something. Kick Ass.

yeah well everything costs 20%-100% more on the Australian marketplace even on sale, hardly any old games have ever dropped to $9.99 here let alone a game as new as Max Payne 3 going to $5 which was cheaper than the US copy on sale.
A lot of sales don't carry on to our region and the ones that do aren't as good and often not advertised anywhere on the dashboard at all.
