Re: General Gaming Discussion
Yeah, Darksiders was an entertaining game, for what I played. I got to a certain point in the game then decided to stop playing, for whatever reason... Then I attempted to play it again but just forgot all the controls and what the fuck I had to do. Still, what I played was fun, can definitely see what influenced them.
One day I'll go back and finish it.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
That's good to hear, I might get it at some point. Although I see quite a lot of the original fans have been whining about it.

It gave me one of those moments in video games where your heart starts racing because something is chasing you and you know if you get caught it's insta-death.
The bit with the sand worm before you get the horse.
I havnt had one of those moments since Metroid Prime.

They are mainly complaining because it's not the original Dante. As for the gameplay, from what I've read it's pretty much similar to the other games in the series.

I remember doing that bit and finding it quite annoying. There were a few times where I thought I'd actually crossed to another platform safely only to have that thing burst out of the ground and kill me. Guess I timed it wrong...
Think I got to the point where Azrael is in chains floating in the air. I released a few of them, got some form of portal traveling device and then decided to stop. That's where I got to and just completely forgot what to do.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
yes, very good. So glad I randomly voted it for best story (before I payed it). The replay value is definitely there, but the story won't change so much to the point that a replay will get you a totally different story. That's my only complaint, literally.
I think they'd do goof to release a special edition literally like a tv show; by that I mean you can in game pause the scene (like any game) but also rewind at anytime, and to any point. That way you can change the decision you made; plus it would fit since it's like watching a TV show only fairly interactive. Like a new game plus mode.
