Re: General Gaming Discussion

Steam's Midweek Madness offer is pretty good.

Borderlands + All the DLC for roughly £13/$20 (£10/$17, if you follow my DLC advice below).

I highly recommend that shit if you want to lose upwards of 20-30 hours, just make sure to skip the 2nd DLC which is a complete waste of money. The Zombie Island and Secret Armory DLC's are well worth it though.

Underdome is good simply for the inventory bank. I have so many orange rare's collecting dust in there. The multiplayer maps are fun tho if you get some players who are serious and looking for achievements.

That's true, completely forgot about the bank - I guess paying a negligible amount while it's on offer is just about worth it.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Okay, as demonstrated in the other thread I don't know much about Madden

I love the ultimate team mode in Fifa and read about it in Madden, I feel maybe it's a good way to learn some shizzle, spend some time with an active community? Perhaps.

Is it worth buying 2011? Reviews say 87% average but yeah they said that about Fifa 10 and that was a glitch fest after 2-3 months

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Think of it like this, if you buy Madden 11. You won't need to buy a new one until Madden 16 since they will all be the same.

Or you know, save your money and buy one of the big games coming out in the next few months (Reach, Fallout, CoD, MoH, Castlevania, Metroid, Mafia 2, Dead Rising 2, Enslaved, Two Worlds 2, DC Universe Online, AC: Brotherhood, LBP 2, Gothic 4, Fable 3, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, etc.)

I'll be buying

Mafia 2
SvR2011
Fifa 11
Halo: Reach
WoW: Cataclysm
Fallout: New Vegas
Dead Rising 2 (maybe my brother will buy it)

My achievements have now tipped 30,000 in 14 months which I'm happy about. Considering all I do is buy games, now I just need a social life it seems

Also: Madden 11 on Gamespot / Gamefaq average user review 6.6 - appears people think it's a step backwards - whether that's a minority or not I have no idea

Download Mutant Football League. Thats the only football game you'll ever need.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

I used to play Dead Ball Zone a lot. I guess it wouldn't hurt to find a copy of Mutant Football League

Assuming there is a ROM out of some form

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Too many new games coming!

How am I gonna have time to play through New Vegas, Dead Rising 2, Castlevania, SVR2011 and Gothic 4 while keeping up with the Starcraft 2 league and levelling up on WoW:Cataclysm.
