When it plays like a hack n' slasher, it's fairly good. Everything else inbetween is monotonous, confusing, and not worth it unless you're REALLY into Star Wars.

Never played the second one, and never will. It takes real effort to make it onto Yahtzee Croshaw's Top 5 Worst list.

Fahrenheit was an amazing game, so I know that Quantum Dream are excellent developers. I always planned on buying Heavy Rain, but waited for a price drop seing that interactive movies can be very hit and miss. Love the first one. Second one is totally trash. Believe it or not though, I actually found the WII version of the first to the best

. Didn't look as pretty but using the Wii controls to pick people up and throw them about, push them around and shit is really fun.

Im hesitant to play it as it's supposed to be a pain in the ass with invinceble enemies.

what is wrong with you? Hate Metal Gear Solid? I can't recommend any game ever to you now if you don't like Metal Gear Solid, it's the same as not liking any video game ever. Do you hate every video game ever?

I'm with Cal on this. The only MGS game that I've actually played through to completion was the second one. Which, to me, was a bland, boring game. I'm still amazed I actually made it to the end of it. I enjoyed the Behind the Scenes DVD more...

Yeah plus that flamethrower is a fucking monster. Shame he didn't get blazed but the other hallucinogenics make up for it anyway

The missions are incredible, and the music is God-tier. My favourite licensed soundtrack this gen. Only problem is there's nothing really to do outside of the story and you can't cause mayhem like you might in other sandbox games.

Little neat touches such as holding a clothes store hostage, then coming back a few minutes later to find it a taped off crime scene is great. The snow setting in the first part of the game is magnificent.

I'll agree with haribo. I started Mafia II a few weeks ago, it was great. I've yet to complete it yet but, what I played so far was good. The snow at the start is also great if you enjoy the scenery and shit.
