If you play on 360, Halo 4 is only $40 right now. But the best way to use your Gamestop gift card would be to get a $100 amazon card. Far Cry is $50 (an extra 10 dollars you'll save) and you can shop on Amazon with the rest. You'll be able to get the best deals and if you play it right, you might be able to get TWO newer games for the remaining $50. I say TWO because Amazon has been having some good $25-30 deals on stuff like Dishonored, BL2, NfS Most Wanted, AssCreed 3, etc.

Too bad Walking Dead was spoiled for you. Its fantastic. What type of games do you like? Maybe we can help recommend something from this year you missed.

Buy The Walking Dead immediately. That was my GOTY easily. Even if you might be "sick of zombies" the story and characters and ability to decide their fate was great. It sucks someone spoiled some of the ending, but I knew it somewhat beforehand and still enjoyed the game. It's cheap on Steam too. Course, GTA V is a no brainer purchase, but you have at least 3 months before it's out.

Regarding the previous posts to this, I can't wait for a Red Dead Redemption follow up on next gen consoles, but I do not know how or where the setting will be. They didn't leave themselves much for post RDR since in 1911, it's basically the end of the Wild West. I suppose the 1920's is a possibility, with a few less horses and a few more cars. It certainly is an untapped era for games in history. I can't think of many, nothing open world certainly. Seeing that era, in next gen, in a NYC setting somehow might be really interesting, but it would be far less Wild West obviously. Perhaps start out west, then migrate east? I would be open to that as well. Classic NYC could be faithfully reconstructed with old pictures too, and seeing it come to life would be fantastic. Rockstar could do that justice.

I only have a PS3 otherwise I'd be buying Halo 4 for sure. I'm not exactly sure what you're saying about the Gamestop gift card, though. Does Amazon accept Gamestop gift cards or are you talking about transferring the Gamestop credit to Amazon credit?

The voice actor from The Walking Dead didn't spoil the entire ending either he just spoiled one of the character's deaths. So it still might be worth a shot.

I completely forgot about Dishonored, so thanks for mentioning that. That game looks fucking sick.

No, if GS sells the physical gift cards for Amazon, buy one for $100. "One of the character's death" could mean anything since YOU determine pretty much who lives and who survives most of the time except for a few instances.

I've never seen gift cards for other companies at the Gamestop in my town. I'll have to double check tomorrow. And I didn't want to put the character's name to spoil it for anyone. It's a major character, so I figured it wouldn't be something you could just decide. Maybe it is, though, I have no fucking idea.

For all I know I could be making something out of nothing from the spoiler I heard. So I think I'm going to go for The Walking Dead. It just looks too unique to pass up.
