I plan on buying Far Cry 3 soon, it looks and sounds amazing. I'll probably get Assassin's Creed as well (I had it preordered but never picked it up), but I'm thinking I'll wait for the price to drop. From what I hear the first half of the game is pretty dull.

What's the big deal about Last of Us? I watched the gameplay videos, but it seems lackluster. Sure, it has high production values, as it's made by the same company that made the Uncharted series, but it looks kinda boring. It's like a more quality version of I Am Alive, and probably longer. Maybe it'll turn out something great, but I'm not seeing it as of yet.

it's being made by Naughty Dog. that's why. and it has Juno/girl-who-walks-through-walls in it. and yes, a much better I Am Alive (considering how shit that game was, it's not a big deal).

Naughty Dog is the key thing here.

Yeah, I kinda knew the only reason why people even care about Last of Us is because of Naughty Dog. I Am Alive wasn't that bad. It wasn't any worse on a technical level than Fallout 3.
